Gutted I can't go to this because of work, surely it should have made it onto Sky Sports 2 because of the history from last season?

Not when there's Champions League matches on I'm afraid. And a Premier League match :(

Cardiff v Leicester preview. SSN

Team news ahead of Tuesday night's Championship clash between Cardiff and Leicester at Cardiff City Stadium.

Cardiff will assess both Michael Chopra and Aaron Ramsey as they look to get back to winning ways.

Striker Chopra missed Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest with an ankle injury, reported by some sources as a fracture, but it is not believed to be as serious and manager Dave Jones does not expect him to be a long-term concern.

On-loan midfielder Ramsey also sat out at the City Ground with a thigh problem and requires a fitness test, with both players "touch and go" to face the Foxes according to Jones.

A couple of faces missed training on Sunday due to illness and will be monitored, along with full-back Paul Quinn who came out of Saturday's game with a tight calf to go with a hamstring problem he shrugged off ahead of the clash.

Cardiff surrendered an unbeaten seven-match league run versus Forest and they will now come up against Sven-Goran Eriksson's resurgent Leicester, who have won seven of their previous eight.

It will be Leicester's first visit to the Welsh capital since last May when they lost 5-3 on penalties in a dramatic shootout to settle a wonderful play-off semi-final, which ended 3-3 over the two legs.

Darius Vassell is a slight concern for Leicester ahead of the trip to Cardiff.

The experienced striker did not train on Monday due to a tight hamstring and he is a doubt.

Fellow forward Steve Howard is manager Sven-Goran Eriksson's only other injury problem. Howard has missed the last two matches with an ankle knock and he will be monitored.

Martyn Waghorn, who scored an injury-time match-winner against Bristol City on Friday night, would start should Vassell or Howard not make it.

Eriksson is blessed with options should he wish to make changes. Defenders Jeffrey Bruma, Bruno Berner and Miguel Vitor and midfielders Lloyd Dyer and Yuki Abe are also available for recalls.

Victory in south Wales could take Leicester into the play-off positions

This is massive, could really define whether or not we've got the mettle to see this through and really challenge for the top spots. No doubt our boys will be up for it as much as we all are, most of them will just be keen to get one over for last season.

It's times like these when you need your big performers to pull through, so here's looking at you King, Wellens and Yak.

I'm shitting myself over Ricardo between the sticks though, I'd be much more comfortable with Weale tomorrow night. As for the centre-backs, they've got a job on their hands to keep out that Cardiff forward line. Mee looks like he's settling in very well, but I can't help but feel Sol's got an error in him against quality opposition. Prove me wrong lad.

A massive test for us to see how far we have developed.

Our actually playing form has dipped a bit in recent weeks (allowing for the first half vs Derby) and their home form is up with ours. They have only conceded 15 times at home and have probably on paper the best attacking options in the league. I'd be delighted with a draw but somehow I can't see us keeping a clean sheet and what with the state of their pitch (not too clever by al accounts) I can see us on the wrong end of a 2-0 defeat.

Personally I suspect the problems will be in midfied where we just don't have enough options within the squad. To win this we will need Wellens to play the best he has all season and for King not to have one of those frustrating games where he seems to vanish for most of the match. Hope I'm wrong but I fear our unbeaten run will come to an end tonight. If it does it will be how we react to it that will map out the rest of our season.

How sweet would a win against Cardiff be tonight, if only to erase the bad memories from May 2010.

Looking forward to listening to this one on the radio, wish all the traveling Foxes fans all the best and a lot to cheer for in South Wales.

Leaving in an hour, it's going to be a long haul, but I hope it's worth it!
