MrLuke Posted 25 February 2011 Posted 25 February 2011 I'm coming up for the Norwich game next month and need some advice on where to go drinking. As its a tuesday night wasn't sure what sort of places will be busy! Plus my mate who's a Norwich fan is coming too so needs to be somewhere nice so he can drown his sorrows after a (hopeful) battering by us. Cheers in advance!
Unit Posted 25 February 2011 Posted 25 February 2011 What sort of thing are you looking to do? What type of music do you like etc? Also the norwich game is my 21st birthday so I expect foxestalk free drinks off everyone, ta.

Don't mind with the music to be honest, as long as I can have some nice drinks and look at a bit of the local fluff I'll be happy.
bigfoxdave Posted 25 February 2011 Posted 25 February 2011 Take him to the Dover Castle, He might like it in there
sdb Posted 25 February 2011 Posted 25 February 2011 MOSH on Tuesdays. Always MOSH on Tuesdays. God I miss that place
MrLuke Posted 25 February 2011 Author Posted 25 February 2011 MOSH on Tuesdays. Always MOSH on Tuesdays. God I miss that place Ok, thats the second person to suggest this place, might give it a whirl!
sdb Posted 25 February 2011 Posted 25 February 2011 If you like rock/indie and anything close you'll love it. The fitties are usually smart too, music's loud, booze cheap, vibe's good. It's amazing, or at least it was. Maybe the hygiene aint great but you'll be too battered to notice.

Sounds ace, it'll take me back to my student days, all I'll need is a win too and will be a good night hopfully
Alf Bentley Posted 25 February 2011 Posted 25 February 2011 I'd recommend a couple of ales in The Globe, maybe Tiger or Sunchaser. You could always lively up yourself with a pack of dry roast peanuts. After that, maybe onto the Ale Wagon for a nightcap, some spicy roast potatoes at Granby Kebab...then bus home to a nice cosy armchair, where you can have a doze, maybe while listening to some Ted Chippington records. Is that the sort of thing you were looking for?

Christoph Posted 25 February 2011 Posted 25 February 2011 Mosh is good on a tuesday if you like indie/rock music, top floor has charts as well. Superfly is also on a tuesday, which has dubstep and hiphop plus charts i think. So really depends what your into, but Mosh has fitter birds.

God I miss that place Mosh Tuesdays were well on their way to becoming gash by the last time I went. Yeah Mosh Tuesdays are the way to go. Were the way to go. Were. Not been in a while now, hopefully people that aren't complete bell-ends have started going again. Used to be a really, really good night until pretty boy, Lifey catologue cunts started inhabiting it in numbers.

fox123 Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 Leicester nightlife is dire - head off to Birmingham or even Nottingham, or Norwich!
MrLuke Posted 1 March 2011 Author Posted 1 March 2011 Cheers I've got a few suggestions, hopefully I won't end up like the last time I travelled to a game, I got wankered on the train and ended up slumped in a Wetherspoons. Classy.
