Season over.

Playoff chances are pretty much gone now i reckon. What I worry about is the playing staff. There'll be a massive turnover of players in the summer whether the board invest or not. Naughton will be bought by QPR or another low prem team. Can't see us hanging onto him.

Mee, Bruma, Van Aanholt will go back - as will Yak. Will prem teams come in for King? Most likely.

Where's our team gone?

Just wondering how many penalties has Ben Mee gave away incuding the England one?

I no he's still on a learning curve but cmon lad. Dont get me wrong I think this guy is gonna be pretty

exceptional with the right nurturing and im glad we have him. Not too sure if that was a penalty from

the highlight but to be honest it doesnt even look like Mee was anywhere near to getting the ball?! :frusty:

In Ricardo... I was one of the ones licking my chops waiting for this guy to get a game... how wrong was I!

Im still optmistic we can reach the play offs my glass is (usually) always half full and as much as i do

believe Sven has been a revolution to City and I want him here next season, i do believe the mistakes

are there for all to see unfortunatley, i.e - dropping Weale, changing back 4 constantly, selling Fryatt to

Hull (that ones debatable), formation.. having his favourites (Vassel)...

but just looking at the quality this man has brought in I have nothing but optimism for next season,

he's had his first taste of Championship football whereby im sure he has learned soo much

in the past X amout of months than he has done anywhere else for a long while!

Like what has been previously said chop out the dead wood and maybe give a couple of the promising

youth products a go (Shlupp)...

If not this season then... Next, we have every chance of taking that league no matter who comes up/down!

But for now I think we should get behind the team, enjoy the rest of the bumpy ride (cosidering the start we had)

& get behind the lads and gaffer..

SVEN'S BLUE ARMYYY!!! :scarf: :sge:

P.s - I did write the 1st paragraph in another post but it was all meant for this post :)

Thats like your avatar mate, on another Fecking planet :crylaugh:

aint never going to happen this season

I know what you mean, but its going to take that for us to get into the playoff's

Only ray of hope, is we are not playing that many more sides that are vying for a spot in the play off's, realistically,Burnley and Forest

Its going to take a sheer miracle

No chance of play-offs, so get Schlupp involved, and send the yak back to Everton to throw his toys at Moyes.

Sven has some thinking to do, pissed off players like Hobbs, Weale etc, cant imagine that Dyer, Waggy and Gallagher are too happy at the moment either, combined with joe average loanees heading back to their clubs and Ricardo, Oakley, Berner, Howard the wrong side of 30 is one big headache.

Should put money down for Naughton, think of the money we are pissing away on Yakubu when it could help buy Kyle.

It's all Mrs Pearsons fault for wanting a holiday last summer!!

Well I made a thread similar to this after Saturday and got slagged off by some.

Right abit of a positive that is going round my head, I and many others (Now) are thinking we've blown it, even if people don't believe that they have to be thinking it's going to be very hard now and unlikely, even the players are probably thinking these things, but it's still mathematically possible, now the fact we all think it's over (Or almost) may mean pressure is off, we have nothing to lose do we? So perhaps now we might see another change in our play, last night I felt the players looked abit fraught, scared, rabbit caught in the headlights, on the edge, rushing things, maybe they'll relax slightly nothing to lose, play their game and maybe, just maybe a miracle will happen.

Basically all i'm saying is we're out of it as it stands and we'll be stuggling, we have nothing to lose so let's fucking have a good try.

If we finish the season like we played last night we have no chance, we were awful, and the thing that annoyed me most? We knew we pretty much needed to win to get ourselves back into the mix up but it looked like the (some of) players weren't even trying, now we've been through that discussed many times, end of last season when we stuttered, our relegation battles, our relegation season and obviously players do go out to try, to win, sometimes it just doesn't look like it.

Woahhh, read the title. It was made in jest and meant to be for all the tossers that have found their way into other threads today to bitch and moan in. Somehow it's turned serious.

Don't lump me in with them :P
