Guest shearfox Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 Vitor will cost a bit that is for sure, I believe he is highly rated at Benfica and today along with the games before he was injured showed why. I feel naughton could cost around 2.5 to 3 mil but both would be worth it.

Much rather have Ben Mee on a permanent.

Would like Hobbs to stay though, he's a quality CB and has been ever present for the last 2 seasons, I think Pearson will do all he can to get him though.

sdb Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 I'd aim to sign Naughton Try and re-loan Bruma and Vitor Mee i'm unsure on and Yak...depends on the money involved. There are better strikers in this league which is a travesty considering Yak's talent. Others compensate in other areas. We must sign a 'keeper. As our no.1. (hopefully Westwood)

Think if we go up, he will come, if we don`t go up, and, as is likely, Qpr go up, i think he will end up there sadly. Would be happy to sign Mee, and also cunningham, who impressed me, while he was here. I think we would have a real chance to sign them too, as i can`t see them getting near Man Citys team. I think Bruma would be a good season long loan for next season too. As for Vitor, he`s impressed me when he`s played, but has spent a fair amount of time out with injuries, since he`s been here, so i would like to see how he goes for the rest of the season, before committing myself on him.
joelmurray Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Naughton, Naughton, Naughton! Decent at defending and a great attacker, hence his goals this season. We haven't had a right back as good as him for ages. If, as a few people have said, he goes elsewhere (QPR mentioned) we would need to replaced him with someone as Neilson or Lamey don't even compare. As for the other defenders we have, Ben Mee I think is our best bet; he's impressed and, although has made some mistakes, has done much more good stuff...plus he can do well as CB or LB. Bruma won't be sold I don't think and he hasn't really done a lot for us so far anyway. Vitor I'd love but a) he seems prone to injury and b) why would he leave the best team in his country where they think he has a future? As for PVA or Cunningham, Cunningham impressed me more but I'd be happy with Mee instead to be honest. The Yak hasn't really earnt his £50k per week price tag yet and we could get just as effective a striker for less from elsewhere in my opinion...
