davieG Posted 1 April 2011 Posted 1 April 2011 Ok this is not looking too good up to now we have the following options 1) St Margaret's Pastures - Saturday 9th July @ 8.45 to 12 - Cost £75 for 3 hours 2) St Margaret's Pastures - Any Sunday 1045 to 2 - Cost £75 for 3 hours 3) Victoria Park - Saturday - Saturday 9th July @10.45 to 2 - Cost Free but no guarantee we will get the pitches as they're not bookable, we'd have to use the park as a back up option 4) Sports Leagues Leicester, Freemans Common - Saturday 9th July @ 8.45 to 12 - Cost £200 for 3 hours 5) New College, New Parks - Saturday 9th July @ 8.45 to 12 - Cost £540 for 3 hours (this is based on it costing £60/hour to hire a third of a pitch although I'm not convinced the person I spoke to had a clue) I've not tried anyone else because frankly it's proving to be a time consuming frustrating time as it would seem most of the people working for these places seem to be totally uninterested in earning their organisation some money. They also lack basic customer service skills, knowledge of their product, do not respond to emails and seem to have a love for answer phones. What do people want to do?

If you have a contact number I'll try them, having spoken to 3 people already at the Council and got nowhere I don't hold out much hope.
