Gibbo24 Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Richie wellens had a skinner tonight !! He wanted to much time on the ball and instead of one touch then look for a pass , he took about five and the passed it backwards !
Guest Mee-9 Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Agree 1000000% with this. His distribution was Wayne Brown-esque.
Jimmy Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Richie wellens had a skinner tonight !! He wanted to much time on the ball and instead of one touch then look for a pass , he took about five and the passed it backwards ! what exactly is "having a skinner"?
themotivator Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 was not great at all. slow sloppy passing. late to come back and defend on so many occasions. not as aggressive/creative as he has been this season. bum game
Gibbo24 Posted 12 April 2011 Author Posted 12 April 2011 They where both shit ! King has been for weeks just goes missing like playing with 10 men
cc_star Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 I've heard King was far worse, but that's not surprising I don't think he's done anything of note since a new contract was mentioned. He just doesn't seem to fit in the team anymore, he needs dropping for a game IMO, but we're at the wrong end of the season to do it.

themotivator Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 its hard to say wellens was worst player on the pitch because in reality nobody was really abysmall today (bar weale's attempt to save their goal). king and richie could have both been much much better though.
Tommeh Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Another fvcking ridiculous thread to sum up this forum these days.
SOUSA2SVEN Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Very big fan of wellens, shame to hear though Hopefully him and king realise prem footie is perhaps on the cards
Jakemoore Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 WOE every player has off days, Wellens has been one of if not our best player this season, give him a break. Could he be missing ABE?

Fox1651 Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 WOE every player has off days, Wellens has been one of if not our best player this season, give him a break. Could he be missing ABE? agreed WELLENS is our player of the season so far, the odd shite game hey but the whole team has been having those recently
StanSP Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 Same old shit. And I'm not yawning at the fact it's 1am. I'm yawning because these kind of threads are boring.
Mack Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 I dont agree with this. After Palarse scored they put their entire team behind the ball, the WHOLE 11. Faced with that and a lack of movement from the forward players what was Wellens supposed to do? Palarse did a very good spoiling job last night, doubled up on the flanks and left us scratching our heads. Sven needs to work out quickly that whilst when plan A is allowed to work (ala Burnley) we can be the best team in this league, when teams do their homework and come to spoil we need a plan B. Right now we dont.
RizLCFC Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 I love Wellens and King and I'm disappointed to hear their not at their not playing well but I feel it's more tiredness than a lack of effort because both of them are quality. We should've signed a central midfielder in January or on loan before the deadline passed. Somebody like Bannan who went to Leeds is quality at this level. He was terrific last year for Blackpool and scores goals.vNearly every team around us bar Forest signed a midfielder or two fresh legs and all that. I like Abe but he isn't a like for like replacement for Wellens or King and neither is Oakley, they can't score goals often enough for a midfielder and they can't dictate our gameplay like Wellens often does.
Fox92 Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 He probably had a bad game, he's been our player of the season. This is a ridiculas thread, take a look at other players first.

carterfox90 Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 king was way worse only thing king did right was put his boots on the right feet shocking from him £ 5 million more like 5pence!!!!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 King was the worst player on the pitch last night, by an absolute country mile.
ousefox Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 He was probably one of our better players. At least he touched theball unlike King. King looked knackered for the whole game, hardly did a thing, and definitely needs to be rested vs Reading.
ACE Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 I think by far the worst player on the pitch last night was the Yak, i hate to admit it but he had little to no input into the game, and when he had the ball he scuffed it (IE when he missed the cross that ANY "premiership" player should be able to at least make contact on. When they took Kamara/Gallagher off instead of him I was dumfounded. Must be part of his loan contract for him to play the games. Thankful to see Mee in place for Bruma once more, although I think we missed Naughton, will be interesting to see if Sven attempts to move him to the RM role and leaves Vitor behind him.
