Legend_in_blue Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 His downfall cannot be blamed entirely on him. Sven has messed about with the GK position all season long. Today was a result of swapping GKs in and out for fun resulting in a loss of confidence in a fairly steady GK in Weale. Unfortunately for him, I think that's it for him. Sven won't pick him now, he has the perfect excuse not to.

DMU Fox Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Absolutely pal, not for the first time he lets us down. People were bumming him massively whilst Ricardo makes some errors, well against Palace & now Forest he's cost us points. Roll on next season when we have a decent keeper between the sticks & Weale is back up which he is perfect for. End of.

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 It's a bit of a shame as i thought he was really good last season
Stevosevic Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Don't know how many mistakes you can allow a player to make?

Legend_in_blue Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 It doesn't matter who the GK is! Forget it for this season. It's done. Revel in the fact that whoever makes it out of this woefully poor league this season will come crashing down from the premiership at the end of the next one. What was it before today's game? 2 wins out of 10. And had we have won, we'd have been level on points with Forest and just outside 6th. That proves how completely devoid of quality this league is. Pundits say its a case of no-one wants it, I say it's more a case of where is the quality to take it? Initiative? No-one has it.
Legend_in_blue Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 QPR will stay up. Warnock will find himself totally out of his comfort zone. I think they'll go down straight away. You cannot compare their runaway success this season with Newcastle's from last.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 April 2011 Author Posted 23 April 2011 Lakhsmi Mittal WILL invest. The guy is worth a fucking fortune, he's one of the richest guys on Earth.
Finnegan Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Lakhsmi Mittal WILL invest. The guy is worth a fucking fortune, he's one of the richest guys on Earth. Your mom's one of the richest guys on Earth.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Not fussed, he won me £14 So your pride in your club is only worth 14 quid <_<
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 April 2011 Author Posted 23 April 2011 Your mom's one of the richest guys on Earth. My mum is Lakshmi Mittal.
sdb Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Give the guy a break. He'll feel shit enough without supporters making him out to be the reason we've been woeful for much of this season. Sven will know (if he didn't already) that we need a new GK. So lets support him for the rest of the season. We saw today what low confidence can do to a player.
topharry123 Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 i've stuck up for him all season, but today he showed that he's not good enough. We had some momentum before they scored and that seemed to kill the game. I could have seen us going onto win it, but that deflated the whole side. Weale and Ricardo are not good enough. We need a better goalkeeper simple as.
