He would be outstanding for in the Championship. I am sure MC would be happy to get some of his wage bill off their books and i don't think they would be looking for a large transfer for him. His confidence would be low not ever cracking into their 1st team, then again niether did Adedbyor.

bald reynard Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I'm amazed there's been no mention (up to today) of the (very likely) possibility of Santa Cruz coming to City - either as a purchase or on loan. We know Sven rates him and we've been linked in the past - and we know he loves Man City players ! Bert / LCFC Man has said it could be on (as a loan) - him, or the Yak. Personally, I'd rather Santa Cruz than the Yak. There was something on Radio 5 at the weekend about the 'masses' of strikers at Man C, most of whom won't get a game - and Santa Cruz was described as, "one who probably would be loaned out".
