remember he did really well in the championship when he help the Brums get promoted a few years back...but I doubt he'd come here, would be good in this league tho.

Also I hear he's the best striker in the world.....he said it himself

And isn't he on around £70k a week.

Mame Biram Diouf

just a spot on bbc gossip column that fergie would consider selling the player for 6m rather than send him out again on loan??? worth a go?

Don't think I could stomach his ugly mug week in week out !

Now all these strikers don't seem to be coming or we have missed out on some, I think we should target these.

Premiership

Yakubu

Santa Cruz

Cox

Ebanks-Blake

Pacheco

Jackson

F.Campbell

Championship

Lambert

Scotland

Rodriguez

Blackstock

League 1 & 2

Lowe

Baldock

Rhodes

Le Fondre

Also people are on about wingers, how about Steven Davies from Derby they sold Commons on the cheap, Davies is on excellent form?

I would have any of those about from blackstock cause he is still injured and instead of Scotland I would go for emnes even tho he just signed a contract doesn't me they won't accept for the right price and they value him at 2.5-3m

Firstly, I would like to introduce myself, as I am a new member.

I am Dez Rez and am a mad Fox, who lives in Wakefield.

I have been raking my brains out about a solution to the much needed striker situation. I firmly believe Felipe Caicedo, who was signed by Sven in 2008 for Man City, would be a great signing.

If you haven't seen/heard of him before, let me fill you in.

The guy is 22 years old, extremely powerful, quick and as an eye for the goal - he would score for fun in The Championship. He is also a much more mature/complete footballer than when Sven originally signed him in 2008.

He is an Ecuadorian International, with 32 Caps and 5 Goals, currently playing his trade in Russia for Lokomotiv Moscow. Following an impressive period at Man City, he had a great 2010 - 2011 season for Levante in sunny Spain, where he scored 13 goals in 27 appearances.

Go on Sven, you know it makes sense!! Get your little black book out (not that one, the other one!! lol) and get on the phone NOW!!!!

On 25 July 2011, Caicedo signed a four-year contract with Lokomotiv Moscow for a fee of €7.5 million

Not going to happen i'm afraid

Now that Odemwingie has signed a new contract - and Albion have a few strikers (him, Fortune, Long and Cox) - what are the chances of Cox being made available, for the right money ? I think Sven might be interested.
