Ric Flair Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Can't for the ****in life of me work out why we've not gone abroad to solve our striking problems, the lack of links to overseas forwards has shocked me given Sven's contacts. Teams in our league don't want to sell to us and players from PL teams don't want to join us if PL clubs are interested. It's not as if we can't attract players from abroad either, Fernandes jumped at the chance to be re-united with Sven and so far he seems to be our man of the season. Settled in quickly and is finding The Championship easy to adapt to. Having said that if we don't go back in for Yakubu then I think we could seriously regret it. He's there for the taking, Everton want rid and he's proven at this level better than any other striker currently available.

Fox92 Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 I remember him scoring against us for Birmingham a few years ago. Think he took it around our goalkeeper. Obviously I'd welcome him but I thought he was joining another club.
