FoxTrott Posted 31 July 2011 Posted 31 July 2011 Wonder if we could get Carlos Vela off Arsenal for a season's loan... I'm guessing not, but he'd be a really creative addition.
Raw Dykes Posted 31 July 2011 Posted 31 July 2011 Wonder if we could get Carlos Vela off Arsenal for a season's loan... I'm guessing not, but he'd be a really creative addition. Would definitely be a superb signing, but I wouldn't have thought it's very likely. He must be on the verge of Arsenal's 1st team by now, and if he was to go out on loan, it'd probably be to a higher standard of league than the Championship. I could be wrong.
Splidge_ Posted 31 July 2011 Posted 31 July 2011 Niklas Bendtner I really would love to see him play for us Not impressed at Arsenal but I would give him a chance here Strong, Great shot If we make the Premier League Worth a bid surely

But if they end up getting Mata and don't offload the likes of Chamakh, Arshavin, Rosicky, competition might be fierce and Vela might benefit from another season on loan. Although he's like 23, he's a pensioner in Wenger's books. Niklas Bendtner I really would love to see him play for us Not impressed at Arsenal but I would give him a chance here Strong, Great shot If we make the Premier League Worth a bid surely Not what we need at all. He's a slow target man who requires a high standard of service, not very creative at all. Looked very, very out of place in the Premiership for the last 10 or so games.

Agreed, i've mentioned him a few times myself this summer. I'm amazed we've not already been linked with him.
Happy Fox Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 Agreed, i've mentioned him a few times myself this summer. I'm amazed we've not already been linked with him. Sven has said he is after two more players, a winger such as Weiss would be a great addition, and then a striker
foxes2011 Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 David Trezeguet, he was amazing in his day, but i think it is a waste of time now he is on his last legs and i cant see him making a difference

Greg2607 Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 spot the mentalist if ANYONE thinks this will happen!!!
AlphaMaleFox Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 I know, this is taken from http://www.leicestercityrumours.co.uk/, so "The Who Would You Buy Topic" then: 01 Aug 2011 02:36:42 Lech Poznan forward Artjoms Rudnevs could sign for Leicester City this summer, his agent has revealed. The Latvian international has expressed his desire to leave the Stadion Miejski this summer, but he has yet to receive any concrete offers. Even though he is keen on leaving Polish club, the player has started new season in the Ekstraklasa and already scored a hat-trick in Lech's impressive 5:0 win over LKS Lodz. However, his agent believes that 23 years old front-man could still leave Poznan before the transfer window closes. Matyas Farkas has even hinted that the £5million-valued Rudnevs could sign for Sven-Goran Eriksson's Leicester. 'We work hard to make the transfer happen with the clubs', Farkas told PFM. 'I do not think that Artjoms will sign for Leicester City, but it remains a possibility.' 'We are in contact with some English clubs, Italian and Spanish. We will know more by Monday or Tuesday, hopefully.' The big-spending Foxes are still searching for a free-scoring striker, who can operate as a winger and Artjoms Rudnevs do fits that profile. Wherethefoxhat? Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 spot the mentalist if ANYONE thinks this will happen!!! Swansea are set for a sensational swoop to sign French striker David Trezeguet. The former Juventus star is prepared to snub a move back to his native France for a crack at the Premier League. The 33-year-old is a free agent following his departure from Spanish side Hercules, who were relegated from La Liga last season, and Swansea have made the first moves to sign him. Former World Cup winner Trezeguet, who played 71 times for France, scoring 34 goals, saw a move back to Italy with Napoli break down last month. Swans boss Brendan Rogers is keen to lure a big name to The Liberty Stadium as a statement of intent as they return to the English top-flight for the first time in 28 years. If he'll go to Swansea ???
Haydos Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 spot the mentalist if ANYONE thinks this will happen!!! Yeah, downright mental if he ageing Spanish second division striker came to a club hotly touted to push for promotion to the Premiership. MENTAL!
