MC Prussian Posted 5 November 2019 Posted 5 November 2019 Album released in 2000, but this song was recorded in the late 90ies:
MC Prussian Posted 6 November 2019 Posted 6 November 2019 Still don't know why the original music video isn't on YouTube any longer:
Blueman1967 Posted 17 November 2019 Posted 17 November 2019 Great band, good live, Paul Heaton, one of the best song writers of modern times
MC Prussian Posted 21 November 2019 Posted 21 November 2019 Not the biggest Depeche Mode fan, but this is a beauty of a song:
MC Prussian Posted 22 November 2019 Posted 22 November 2019 Should've been way bigger - probably the most underrated Canadian rock band of the 90ies: Closest to what I'd call a perfect song.

Went to see them on the Blood Sugsr tour and he hardly played a note. So off his face and unsurprisingly they got rid of him soon. Amazing guitarist mind.

I like both Housemartin records and Beautiful South stuff. Red Eyes is one of my favourite Beautiful South songs.

I seen a programme about him, on ITV or Channel 4, at 1 in the morning, not so long ago, normal working class bloke, who the fact he never won any awards for his songwriting is a disgrace.
Crinklyfox Posted 14 January 2020 Posted 14 January 2020 Like father like son. Number one for Chesney Hawkes in 1991 Number one for father Len (Chip) Hawkes in 1967
