MikeyT Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 So that's it. Season is over. Few months now of no Football. Although, we have all these months of speculation to look forward to. Nice 4-2 victory today and am so pleased for Yuki to break his duck today. EDIT. Could a Mod please add an "I" to Ipswich please!
Austin Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Transfer talk's going to be interesting. Good result today even if at one point we looked like throwing it away. Roll on next season
cc_star Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 well, well, well Pretty sure we'll be the most active side in the country over the next 3 months, so the summer won't be as mundane as normal Great win today, by all accounts some lovely football carving them open at times All that remains is who goes up in the playoffs, who comes down from the Prem & who we can sign to mount a promotion charge next year
MikeyT Posted 7 May 2011 Author Posted 7 May 2011 Now the forum will be come dead for a few months What, with all the speculation over players coming and going? Nah.
Haydos Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Now the forum will be come dead for a few months Gen chat is gonna have to up it's game!
cc_star Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Now the forum will be come dead for a few months doubt it, the Kermorgant thread alone will keep us going
FoxyPV Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Gen chat is gonna have to up it's game! A couple of threads on sexuality/ politics/ religion should liven it up (again)
sphericalfox Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Right as there is a Australian love-in on the actual match thread, can anyone answer the questions posed over there? Vitor off for hamstring injury? What was Vassell's issue?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 What, with all the speculation over players coming and going? Nah. Every bastard will be on Summer holidays as well <_<
MikeyT Posted 7 May 2011 Author Posted 7 May 2011 Every bastard will be on Summer holidays as well <_< Can expect a zillion more topics on people like Beckham and Drogba signing then
millzi Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Right as there is a Australian love-in on the actual match thread, can anyone answer the questions posed over there? Vitor off for hamstring injury? What was Vassell's issue? *sniff* *sniff*. Do I smell a hint of jealousy? Or are you one of these patriotic mad people who loves this country to bits? Personally, 19 days is TOO long for me to wait to get out of this dump. EDIT: Oh dear, it's closed now, so the "Australia love-in" is gonna have to emigrate to this thread
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Can expect a zillion more topics on people like Beckham and Drogba signing then Ssssshhhhh!!! don't give them any ideas, they may eve quote you as the source that they are signing.

I'm Irish, so if you want to discuss all about Melbourne and it's wonderfulness, go write a thread about it, or message each other to your heart's delight. I went to that thread for info about the game, not 3 pages of discussion on Melbourne and the 4 reasons why everyone should move there. That is all.
Austin Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Can expect a zillion more topics on people like Beckham and Drogba signing then But Sven managed England AND Ivory coast Mikey .. Why wouldn't they sign?

There's many, many, MANY more than 4 reasons to move to Melbourne, I can assure you of that. If you wanted to score then I heard BBC Sport do minute-by-minute updates of all games...

We'll leave it there. I'm sure there's more than 4 reasons to move to Melbourne. I'll be happy to read all about it in your 'Melbourne Love-in Thread' Also the BBC didn't mention the reasons why the substitutions took place. So if you don't know yourself, then you are not helping. I await someone in the know who'll answer the questions posed.

Yes the BBC do, but as this is a LCFC FORUM and that was the match thread, was it so unreasonable to expect some relevant LCFC info and not a Melbourne love in?

I may not have answered your "questions posed" but I did however reply to another part of your post. Agreed, we'll leave it here. Sorry, I always have to have the last word And Vassell went off injured as well early on, not sure what was wrong with him.

Go find the quote where I said it was "unreasonable to expect some relevant LCFC info" pleeeeaaaasseeeeeeeee
TheUltimateWinner Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Tunch cried and van aanholt looked like he was walking round, last game in blue maybe?
sphericalfox Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Tunch cried and van aanholt looked like he was walking round, last game in blue maybe? Van Aanholt won't be back. He's another 'Davies', but he put in more effort, despite his shortcomings. It doesn't surprise me that Tunchev was overcome. He probably thought his career might have been over for the last couple of seasons.
ScouseFox Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Tunch was solid and almost scored, would've been a dream. A bit of a relaxed game, some great football, 4 nicely worked goals, Yakubu scored again... Lovely to see Abe score. And a bit of "passion" from Kamara, sprinting about 40 yards to spark a brawl after a hard challenge on Yakubu. All in all, nice way to end an entertaining season.
