Good result. First half we were top, some of the best football we've played all season- much more effective.

Pleased Yuki scored. He alos put in a good ball into Gally, for Yak's goal. I hope he's in Sven's plans for next season.

I think that has been the best aspect of the game for me. I really hope Abe is in Sven's plans and we can see even more from him in the next season. Big fan of his enthusiasm, work rate, and his ability.

Transfer talk's going to be interesting.

Good result today even if at one point we looked like throwing it away.

Roll on next season :scarf:

I can't quote your signature but if he say's something like yo that's shizzle then how can it be a woman?

It shows the stupidity of Michael G Scott - He's from the office US mate, it's meant to say that

Very entertaining match. Mexican wave was surprisingly good! Very even match. They had their chances but we took ours. Great to see Yuki score. King looked back to normal and could have had a hat trick. Love Diomansy. Emotional :( can't wait for august 6!

The difference was Weale . At least three great saves...

Anyone know how Tunchev played?

Started off brilliantly considering he's been injured for two years, abit shaky for 10 minutes in the second half no more than the rest of the defence was.

No surprise that the teams concentration went when the Mexican wave was started up. <_<

Good game, surprisingly, considering it was a nothing, end of the season game, played well.

Felt Gallagher was abit poor, but not really bothered!

Weale made some good saves, still need a new number 1 in the summer though.

I knew Yuki was gonna score today, just had a feeling, so much so I bet on it, unfortunatly I bet on him to score first

Oh well, feeling quite down now with the thought of no football for a few months (Yes I am that sad that my life is empty on a Saturday afternoon with nothing else to do), but will soon be here

Good stuff. Decent enough game considering neither team had much to play for. Chuffed to see Tunch get a good amount of game time, played really well apart from a few dodgy touches in the second half. Kamara really impressed me, keeps the ball really well and puts a lot in (though almost too much during the 'brawl' in the second half!). Sad to see Vitor getting injured again.

The game was kind of a summary of Sven's time here so far, at home at least. What a sexy new kit we have also.

What's this about Tunchev crying then? Anything in it? I want him on the back of my new shirt next season so we better give him a new contract.

Yes Weale made a couple of good saves but the first one was a weak shot from 19 yards which he fumbled and saved the rebound, whereas he should really have stopped the first shot instead of pushing it around the post!

A goal for Yuki and 60 minutes of the Tunch  Great game today, lots of fun, some cracking goals. The ref was shit, but that didn't even come close to mattering. Nice way to end the season, hopefully we'll come back after the summer firing on all cylinders.

Some people will never be happy :giggle:

This report from the BBC is pretty retarded.

Leicester secured 12th place in the Championship with victory over Ipswich.

The hosts were 3-0 up at half-time courtesy of Andy King's 16th goal of the season, a goal from Yakubu and a fine 20-yard effort from Yuki Abe.

But two goals in three second-half minutes saw Ipswich hit back with a Grant Leadbitter penalty and a Connor Wickham strike.

But Diomansy Kamara calmed home supporters' nerves with an 82nd-minute goal to clinch a thrilling win.

My lads vid of kings goal.

Come on Gallagher do something.....

YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS

Can't complain about entertainment.

I thought it was a very typical performance from us. Always looked to have a threat in us going forward, but considering the amount of possession we had, we were pretty wasteful. Having said that we are always going to create chances with the pace we've got, and the goals were all created by good moves.

Silly defending all game again. It's not really the individuals (apart from Van Aanholt), just the organisation and basics. We never close them down on the edge of our box, we let them win to much from set pieces, and worst of all we are too causal and keep passing it straight to them. This happened a number of times today and for the life of me I can't understand how they didn't score 4 themselves, despite being a very average side.

We are still yet to develop a good tempo in our play, and this is largely down to the lack of movement off the ball. Most of our players are good technically, but Sven needs to get their footballing brains in gear. Norwich do not have superior personnel to us, but they showed us how the passing and moving game works. This has been achieved due to the work they've done in training, developing and understanding, learning to get their head up quickly, and being as fit as they can (something Sousa fvcked up for us).

Early in the game I was also thinking how we lacked someone who could go round someone. The only player in our starting 11 who can skin anyone is Naughton. Vassell and Yakubu can do them for pace now and again, but they need space to run into and a bit of time to build up speed. Then Vassell came off, and suddenly we had Kamara on, who showed that he can take players on. If everyone had his work rate, movement off the ball and ability, we'd be set. You could tell he really wanted the ball, he showed for it, ran into space, came inside, dribbled with the ball etc. He's really impressed me and I hope he signs.

Contrast this with Yakubu and, I know I'm going to get slated for this, but I'm still not convinced. Yes his striker rate is good. But today summed him up. Scored a tap in - fine, good, well done. Other than that though he was woeful, he should have had 2 but missed a sitter - something he's done a number of times since he's been here. He's scored 11 but he could have had 20, but for misses like that. And I'm very sure that if we had Kamara down the centre we would have been a lot more effective in the final third. I also believe he can score as many goals as Yakubu. I really think we were at a disadvantage today, as we have been in previous games, with such a static, lazy lummox wandering around up front. Personally, at this time I'd like to see Kamara through the centre next season and a new winger bought, someone who can beat a man and cross it.

The other MOTM contender was Abe, not only for his well taken goal but his general calmness on the ball and involvement. Ball in for the second was superb. He is clearly a good technical player, I still have my doubts about his consistency and role though. He's still not a holding midfielder in my eyes, something we desperately need. King was impressive as Ipswich allowed him too much space, seemed to lack in confidence in the final third (as did most of our players) and once didn't try a long range shot I'd expect him to have a go with. But his passing was very good and he took his goal well.

Wellens didn't have one of his best games, Gally was hit and miss, Van Aanholt looked OK going forward but lets face it he just can't defend. I will be very disappointed if we sign him. Bruma is obviously a good footballer but I don't rate him as a defender (a judgement made not on todays performance, which was very decent).

Sadly it seems that will be the last we see of Naughton, I actually think he is England class and will get international recognition soon. I know I didn't think QPR's crimes were worthy of a points deduction but the point is it's one rule for one and another for another. The system is corrupt and I will be very annoyed if/when he signs for them. He will be very difficult to replace.

Probably the last we see of Weale too.

I thought our kit was too dark, almsot navy. Not really Leicester blue.

Thoroughly entertaining day though. Enjoyed the montage at the end and the little kid (Wellens' son?) who got on the pitch and scored was hialrious! lol

There's lots of work to do in the summer but I think we have reason to be positive about our automatic promotion chances.

BTW how old were the 'Foxy Ladies'? Seemed a bit young to me...can't decide whether it was weird or not.
