RyanB89 Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 Ive heard from a good source that Sven's going to make a bid for Chris Gunter from Forest, if Crystal Palace want too much money for Nathaniel Clyne, personally I'd have Gunter over Clyne any day of the week. When I watched him last season at the Walkers and The City Ground he looked solid. He can also play at right back and left back so he would be a good player to have in the squad. Also only about 22 years old and has been at Tottenham so he would be able to make the step up to the Premier League if we get there next season. Thoughts? Pretty sure he never played for tottenham in the premier league? Would be a good signing though would give us cover for both flanks and hes still very young so should get better

Danny the Fox 95 Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Heard from someone who works at the club that were going to bid for Gunter this week. . We'll have to see. I'd be very happy with this signing and with Newcastle apparently interested in Clyne, this signing has to be the more likely option.
