Stadium Name change

Hopefully the name change encourages more people to call it Filbert Way so over time we'll have a proper name for it rather than any sponsors, because at the moment i'm sure most people call it the Walkers.

For me, just giving Birch a lifetime contract warrents them changing the name to 'The King Power Stadium'. And for that very reason, I can say it with pride

I'll still call it the walkers due to habit. But never the less, King Power have put a lot into the club, and have the will and passion for us to succeed.

Not a big fan of stadium sponsorship. I think it would be better if the stadium named carried a bit more historical or geographical relevance to Leicester but its the 21st century now & ground naming rights are big source of income today. We'd be losing out if we didn't exploit that. This name change was always going to happen anyway. Doesn't really make much difference in my opinion, I'll still be calling it Filbert Way

And when did I insult leicester as a whole??? I thought you may be interested to hear what the rest of the footballing world will be calling your stadium. I did not indicate that people from Leicester are a lesser race, because they aren't. Plus I don't live in cov as you don't live in Leicester.
