accessory Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Stand and sing - we need to show the new players what it is to pull on that royal blue jersey Or as it will be on Saturday, the yellow jersey..
sbfox Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Jesus Christ, reading this last page is like reading a call to arms. "EVERYONE STANDS, NO-ONE SITS" sounds like something out of Zulu. Calm down everyone...
foss1884 Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 "Blue and White barmy army" should be the chant we do non-stop. It is easy and short-so there are no excuses! 6,000 doing it should sound impressive. Come on!!!!
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Can't wait for this one. Taking a great following. I'm not expecting the atmosphere to be brilliant due to how crap the ground and their support is. Although I don't understand why people think suggesting a song on a web forum will see it work on Saturday. It never does. The brilliant thing about football is that, aside from gestures such as Man City's for Young last year, it's spontaneous.
Tedders Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 ^^^ haha quality chant! Perhaps someone could edit this too fit in at there place? I posted it on the new chants thread after there lack of fans showed up at our place last season...... Better late than never... A song we should of sang against Coventry in regards to there poor attendance which they ve put down to our prices on other threads. To the tune of ten german bombers. There's only ten cov fans sitting over there, ten cov fans sitting over there, there's only ten cov fans, ten cov fans, ten cov fans sitting over there As the loyal staff at walkers priced them out The loyal staff at walkers priced them out The loyal staff at walkers Loyal staff at walkers Loyal staff of walkers priced them out There's only 9 cov fans sitting over there .... And so on!
Finchy Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 "Shall we buy someone for you" It's got to be done, everywhere.
Karljohn Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Ten men went to watch, went to watch cov city, ten men and a dog.... Perhaps a bit of left side right side with the boys in the telent stand?
Corky Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 First game of the season had a cracking atmosphere last year. Hope for more of the same (though a better result).
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 im really looking forward to this game, its going to be good im sure
fox ache Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 http://www.ccfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10269~2409028,00.html "LETS ALL DO THE POZNAN" CMON LEICESTER :chant: :chant:
Leicesterpool Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Can I ask fans not to make horrible chants about Nuneaton, as some fans have got to remember there's a big fan base of leicester fans in my town. You can call Bedworth & cov as many times as you like! COME ON LEICESTER
Leicesterpool Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 John it's simply not & It's my hometown. Try & say that to Nuneaton supporters club. (Of Leicester City)
John Matrix Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 not been there in years mate, wasn't being serious. my brother worked there at one point and someone pissed on the shop window while they were trading...that's about the only thing i can base my view of nuneaton on.
Leicesterpool Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 One question is there anybody from Coventry, supporting Leicester on here?
John Matrix Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 here's the real question "What is the highest number of corners won by a losing side in one match?" asks Colin Morley. "In November 1965 I saw Leicester City win either 34 or 36 corners at Filbert St versus Manchester United and they still lost 0-5."
