It great getting little kids involved in football, and i'm all for it but little kids at football matches do my head in! Because most of the kids ain't really bothered in the football all there bothered in are kicking the back of the seats, or running up and down the steps or going to the toilet or getting something to eat, most of the little kids can't keep concertration for 90 minutes, especially when there not really bothered (Which there not at a young age)

This is also why I think its such a bad atmosphere at The Walkers Stadium, ok I can't blame it solely on the kids, and the club can't stop kids from watching the football, but there are so many little kids with the annoying horns, e.t.c

As I said i'm all for getting kids into football at a young age but personally when I have a kid, unless there really, really, really interested in football they'll have to be about 6/7ish (maybe older) before I take them to the football

My first game was our last league match of the 1992/1993 season. We lost to Newcastle 7-1, I remember Srnicek getting sent off for them but none of the scorers or anything. Andy Cole getting a hat trick rings a bell though can't be sure. The same season we lost 4-3 to Swindon in the play-off final.

I come from a very non football loving family, although my grandparents are scots and Celtic fans, however I got into football through friends at school. First playing then supporting as my mate used to take me to FNF games, that got me the thirst for more and here I am now clocking up 100 and something odd games.
