Thracian Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 We're looking increasingly desperate. Strikes me there's not been any serious pre-planning relating to attack. We don't seem to have a clue who we're going to get or where we're going to get goals/assists from in the League games. Even the ticket office is focused on defence this season - it's like running into a brick wall with queuing for ages even on a Tuesday!. .

Not only that but they appear to be going on a buying spree which could them in the hotseat for one of the top two slots, the million pound difference would look like spare change in comparison to the rewards to be gained by keeping a rival at bay whilst adding a massively important player to our squad Nevermind, we have a new flavour of the month, Robbie Keane, the man who could have joined West Ham where he was on loan last season but didn't because they were relegated, hardly fills me with confidence that he would step down to us. So will we buy/loan one striker... maybe yes, but probably our 18th choice one. Lets see Gally - Nugent - Schlupp in competitive action and see if we even need one

Stop your sarcastic malarkey, I am pretty positive that whoever Sven brings as a striker it will be a good choice
