looking at the fixture list i'm quite worried where our winning streak will begin in our current form

forest away = difficult

southampton home, put 5 past ipswich

barnsley away, not easy

brighton home, as southampton, promotion momentum continuing

cardiff, middlesborough away, no gimmees in either game

derby, would love to stop the rot against the sheep, but they are having their best start in years

birmingham away, again, difficult

october 19th, watford home. should be a home win (although i thought bristol would be as well!)

so is it going to be another 9 games?

when you study the fixtures like this it shows what a tough league this is to get out of, really hope my predictions are proved shit!

although this post sounds negative, i really do feel we could reach the play offs when we click :scarf:

98+ points by March... Easy peasy ..

That's the spirit!!! Optimism is what we need right now!!! Squad depth should come through by January, and as long as we're there or thereabouts we can invest what we need to push up the league!!! KEEP THE FAITH

But on paper, Bristol City was an easy three points. Football is played on grass, not on paper

It's only rubbish if in time it's proved to be. I reckon that if this run you talk of continues thru till the watford match there'll be considerably more 'rubbish' on here and probably some changes at the KP.

I was gutted - firstly for missing the match due to having to work, and secondly because, even though we played badly again, it appears we threw it away with a schoolboy error by St Ledger. I thought we'd get the 3 points, but maybe we'll win one of the most difficult fixtures (on paper) later in the season.

On the bright side, from what I've heard, and from watching the highlights, it does sound like a slightly better performance than the shower of shite I endured on Saturday against Reading. Maybe, just maybe, we can carry on improving as each match goes by and hit good form sooner or later.

Again, you are a nob. 3 games in and you are judging us against other teams on our form and theirs so far. Who's to say ,Brighton, Southampton, Cardiff etc won't lose their next 3 games.

It is a 46 game season. Get a ****ing grip!

I think we've proved that a week is a long time in football, let alone a month. We've gone from a positive start by winning at Coventry for the first time while West Ham lost at home, to two home defeats in a week and everyone queuing up to call the play-offs a long shot. A defeat to Millwall for Southampton and a win for us at Forest tomorrow will change the complexion of next week's game completely.

Long way to go yet....it depresses me when we are getting so many people who expect us to win every game 3-0! It's a tough league and this year will probs be harder then last imo.

If we can get a result today you never know, we may go on a streak of confidence and win 10 on the trot. It just takes a good, consistent run to get us up to the top of the league. That's how Millwall managed to end up where they did last year (I think they won 8 out of their last 10? and finished just outside the playoffs)

Have a little faith boys...I reckon we'll come good soon enough.
