liamsm Posted 20 August 2011 Author Posted 20 August 2011 Fvck off and whine to someone who gives a fvck. one day when you grow up and stop believing in fairies i might take you seriously, until then go and play with your barbie doll Gay boy
Jimothy Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Just watched again looks like he's throwing it as far away from the forest players as possible to me which is a yellow card. I struggle to see why he'd go harring into the net just to give them the ball straight back so they can get started . I wasn't there so could well be wrong. Still a stupid thing to do. My guess is that he was angry and wanted something to take his anger out on, so got the ball and launched it as far as he could. He didn't throw it into the crowd to waste time, or hold onto it like the Norwich players last season, so he wasn't wasting time. Football's all about opinion though, obviously we see Schmeichel's actions differently. I suppose he gives the ref a merest chance to send him off, and if you know you dealing with a power hungry twat, you should never give him that chance, no matter how small it is.

Chryatis Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Having watched the highlights on youtube after Nugent's goal a Forest defender (think number 5) picks up the ball and kicks it into the crowd and doesn't seem to get into any bother. I am not convinced that the penalty is a penalty either as the ball seems to come from behind Millsy so not convinced he would have seen it. And after listening to Stringer on RL he claimed the ball was thrown towards the centre circle so I don't think Schmeichel should have been yellow carded either especially as the Forest No5 wasn't. The reffing decisions were a shambles and cost us 2 points.
liamsm Posted 20 August 2011 Author Posted 20 August 2011 He threw it into the stands did he not, he went diving into the net for the ball as soon as they scored so he could chuck it to waste time, it is without question a booking. As for letting him know if he had been booked no one knows whether he did or not whether Kasper just didn't hear him due to noise or whatever, but yes he should probably make sure the player knows but what exactly was said to who and when on the pitch none of us know so I think to be calling for him to be fined and demoted six leagues on speculation alone is rather "silly" either way he deserved to be sent off and if the ref had not done it he wouldn't of been doing his job. I admit I need to see this again I admit as I said it is debatable but as I have also said that fact there is even an arguement means the ref had a hard decision to make, the ball clearly hits his hand which means the decision is not going to be an easy one to make, it is quite easy for Matt Mills to make it look as though he is just trying to steady himself whilst at the same time purposly handling the ball which is obviously what the referre thinks hence the yellow card. I don't really know whether he meant it or not but thats irrelvant to the penalty and only relevant to the yellow card for deliberate hand ball, the question you need to ask yourself in regards to the pen is could he of got his hand out of the way or put it somewhere else? quite easily if you ask me, it does not have to be deliberate hand ball to give a penalty hence why pens are given for players faling their arms when attempting to block shots and this is why you see alot of players putting their hands behind their backs when trying to block shots these days. You have to do everything you can do to avoid the ball hitting your hand and in my eyes Matt Mills has not do that. I accept there is a counter arguement to the mills pen but there is no arguement for Kasper, even our own players decided to have a go at Kasper instead of the ref after the red card was shown from what I hear, the ref's made his decsion get on with it. Calling for fines, demotion of leagues, and being a keyboard warrior and making sweeping statements like "he had a terrible game" when you've seen 11 minutes worth of highlights is ridiculous, we are more to blame for chucking that 2-0 lead than that ref like we were to blame for terrible back to back displays at the Walkers last week and it needs to be sorted if we're going to do any where near as well as most of our fans and the press think. You sound a complete tool, nobody is biting at your silly remarks, as i have heard jaspers version so i do know what happed fool hahaha

Dunno about power hungry but launching the ball when you've literraly just been booked for time wasting isn't too smart. I geniunly don't know what the ref was like today so wouldn't really want to comment on just highlights but you've got to question Kasper. Seems to be a hint of offside about Nugents goal so maybe we got a bit of luck as well. would like to see it properly, chances of it being shown in any detail on the football league show will be minimal though .

Rincewind Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Harsh as the penalty decision was the ref has to decide whether City gained any advantage. If the ball had come to a forest player who then blasted it wide then play on. But didnt the ball go to Smeical? meaning Forest lost the ball unfairly. As for the sending off I can't decide. The ref thought he had kicked the ball away in frustration. May have been just luck it landed in the centre circle making it ook more innocent than it was. Did he say anything before during or after he kicked the ball to draw attention to himself? I thought after the first game our luck had changed with the result going our way in a tough game. But it seems normal service has resumed. This is only the beginning the best/worst is yet to come. Enjoy.

DB11 Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Ex-Players do not want to officiate. And when they do retire, they're too old to officiate at the top level. so how can this statement from one of your previous posts be correct. you should stop and think before making wild statements IMO Because from a de facto point of view a referee who starts any later than his twenties will not make it to the top level.
CupidStunt Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Not seen any papers/tv/radio this weekend, just heard we had a dodgy pen against us can someone give details on what happened please (apart from the fact it appears we have been done over by the ref)

CupidStunt Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 There are video highlights in the Forest highlights thread. cheers, just seen them shocking decision for pen, he wasnt even looking at the ball, and besides, kasper was behind the ball, so he had no need to touch it, and for the commentator saying it went into the stand,....what? he obviously is commenting on the games highlights and didnt see **** all and forest 2nd goal, cant see how boeteng claimed it, it was an own goal from what i can see, and he went straight through our player to get to it, looked like a foul all day long.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 We have A Haines for the Bury game, the same ref we had for Boro away who was shocking.
