pSinatra Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 On East Midlands News. Got CCTV footage of the explosion. The guy who owns the CCTV footage looked visibly upset at knowing there had been a body found. The place was closed when it exploded......so who the body is????

All my friends and colleagues live that end of Narborough rd and on Hinkley rd and everyone said they heard a huge explosion.

More of a loud but strange sounding thud. Enough to make me turn and think 'what the hell was that ?' My bad tho, didn't mention what I heard in my first post. Definately think that is what it was. Bang on the same time.

There's an alarm business with CCTV footage located in the direction of Braunstone Gate (close to Orange Tree??). It shows a car going from Braunstone Gate, turning left into Narborough Rd towards Narborough (near to bus stop) as the shop explodes. The car is nearly hit by the explosion. EDIT: you found it

If you'd just narrowly escaped a big explosion, what would you do? Stay still, move closer to try and get a better view, or perhaps get the **** out of there in case another one goes off

themotivator Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 , i cycled past all the police cordons on my way to work this morning. thought it was just a traffic accident. bloody hell, what an explosion. i grew up right round the corner and we used to be scared of that building when it was a public toilets because thats were all the pedos (peados? spelling?) hung out (according to playground legend). it was a bit of a laughing stock when they built a kebab shop on the same premises. not surprised it got "blown up". that place always had about 4 men working in it and no customers.

You mean the bit eventually falling on the ground just beneath the 2 on 2011? Just looks like debri of the building, to me.

Yes that's it , i think it is debris too now as when it hits the floor it seems to vanish , as though its a piece of flat board or something sometimes my imagination can be a little lively .
