Yojoe36 Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 Who cares? We should chant "Yuki Abe", so he can bloody take one
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 It's alright spose, Just would like Yuki to take one! him and Konchesky are good free kick takers
davieG Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 The build up to free kicks is the biggest time wasting part of the modern game whatever happened to 'quick' free kicks and if you aren't 10 yards back given the option of moving 10 yards nearer - they bore me to death waiting for them to be set up especially when the majority appear to fly over or past the goalposts for a goal kick.

We do take them, but when your about 30 yards out or less then might as well have a go!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 Can't fooking stand it. Any of you who've been to wembley for an England game will know why. Filbert Way needs to get as far away from the 'atmosphere' at wembley as possible. For the good of football. It's cringeworthy.
davieG Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 We do take them, but when your about 30 yards out or less then might as well have a go! Rarely when the goal is in sight as the first thing the ref does is show us he's got a whistle and so the time wasting fiasco commences as the ref has to tell the wall time and again to move back I find the whole system really irritating. Tell them once if they don't move the full distance book them all.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 Is it better than nothing? Yes. Is it better than belting out a round of "Come on Leicester!"? Not by a long shot.
Jollie Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 Is it better than nothing? Yes. Is it better than belting out a round of "Come on Leicester!"? Not by a long shot. how about a compromise of 'Come on Yuki' (no euphemism intended!)
phillthefox Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 HATE IT !!!!!!! GET RID OF IT !!!!! I will never do the clap build up and never have !!!!!!! thank you and good night
davieG Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 It'll probably lead to someone trying to Fosbury Flop over the goal posts.
purpleronnie Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 Blimey I thought the atmosphere was bad enough, seems those moaning about the atmosphere want to stop all noise. Whats with all the rules about what fans should do, so uptight. odd.
Ozwin Posted 24 September 2011 Author Posted 24 September 2011 I should, for the record, say that I quite like it. It's a bit different.
FuriousFox46 Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 I don't mind it. Although, I'd imagine it to be off putting for the taker

The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 I should, for the record, say that I quite like it. It's a bit different. It's not different. It epitimises the term happy clappers
purpleronnie Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 It's unoriginal It's uniriginally boring Most fans sing boring unoriginal songs I dont see how its possible to continue to sing new songs with everyone knowing what to sing. Just seems anything that happens at games thesedays is moaned about. I'm moaning about others moaning. Aggggrrhhhhhh
Chazwaz Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 I don't like it, but I suppose it is better than nothing.

It may help if we'd actually score from a free kick. It may have justified doing it. But for Mr its too childish and too modern.
purpleronnie Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 Hopefully more of the 'european' football atmosphere will rub off and maybe then we'll have a half decent atmosphere.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 I don't like it, but I suppose it is better than nothing. I've tried to get 'come on leicester' going instead, just like the filbo days. I just get outclappef I don't like it, but I suppose it is better than nothing. The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 Hopefully more of the 'european' football atmosphere will rub off and maybe then we'll have a half decent atmosphere. Fair comment though I didn't hear the stoke fans clapping at free kicks yet the atmosphere just now was immense
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 September 2011 Posted 24 September 2011 If jobber would just get rid of his drum. I know itd be worse for atmosphere for a few games, but is like to think that eventually fansv would realise they don't need a drum to get a song going. It's not the younger generations fault, they know no different (better) I appreciate what jobber is trying to do but think if he actually stopped and realised he was brainwashing (for want of a better word) the fans he'd stop.
