Returning home

I'm currently sat at Cork airport awaiting a flight Manchester for what is my return to the UK after 7 years away.

I start a job in Manchester next week and am looking forward to it. I grew up in the Charnwood area and don't know Manchester at all. It's exciting but daunting.

Best thing about coming back means I can get a season ticket to City. It's one of the biggest pluses about moving back.

You need to ask?

I just want to know, which of the numerous viable reasons there are, has forced One Arm back across the water.

Living in Manchester means you can get a season ticket for Leicester? Just cos you're in the same country now it's still a bit far apart lol

Manchester - a veneered shitheap where the Council's henchmen will book you for parking on grass wasteland whether there's a "no parking sign" or not and where the jobsworths at the City of Manchester stadium will confiscate a tiny penknife off a pensioner on the grounds that it might be used to start World War 3. Good luck to you.

I've had one for years, only a few hours on a train.
