One Arm Babba Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 I'm currently sat at Cork airport awaiting a flight Manchester for what is my return to the UK after 7 years away. I start a job in Manchester next week and am looking forward to it. I grew up in the Charnwood area and don't know Manchester at all. It's exciting but daunting. Best thing about coming back means I can get a season ticket to City. It's one of the biggest pluses about moving back.

Webbo Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 Why are you leaving this fair isle? You need to ask?
FoxyPV Posted 13 October 2011 Posted 13 October 2011 You need to ask? I just want to know, which of the numerous viable reasons there are, has forced One Arm back across the water.

DB11 Posted 15 October 2011 Posted 15 October 2011 Living in Manchester means you can get a season ticket for Leicester? Just cos you're in the same country now it's still a bit far apart

Manchester - a veneered shitheap where the Council's henchmen will book you for parking on grass wasteland whether there's a "no parking sign" or not and where the jobsworths at the City of Manchester stadium will confiscate a tiny penknife off a pensioner on the grounds that it might be used to start World War 3. Good luck to you.

ScouseFox Posted 15 October 2011 Posted 15 October 2011 Living in Manchester means you can get a season ticket for Leicester? Just cos you're in the same country now it's still a bit far apart I've had one for years, only a few hours on a train.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 15 October 2011 Posted 15 October 2011 Thrac. probably carries one of his old" Teddy Boy" era bicycle chains. Get one of them wrapped round your neck, and you'll have a big problem. Hmm. Now where's my old bike?
