Cruising, in total control and very comfortable I turned to my mate at half time and said 'these are absolutely shite.. This could easily end up 5,6,7 nil Second half... They were the better side, we allowed them to come onto us more, Beckford kept falling on his arse or giving the ball away, king became non existent again and if it wasn't for Kaspers sensational save near the end it would have been 2-1 Yes, a wins a win.. So well done and three more points But what happened second half? Again, as a spectacle the second half was bizarre and hard to explain. They were the worst side we've seen down here IMO and, for some reason, we nearly let them sneak back in? This may sound critical and I don't want it to but I really don't know why we seemed to switch off again second half. It needs remarking on because it was apparent

Kitchandro Posted 19 October 2011 Posted 19 October 2011 Watford were shocking, I mean if someone had said they were bottom of league 2 I would have believed them, we were good in the first half and had the game sewn up at 1-0, let alone 2. There was just no way Watford were going to score. Second half was ridiculously boring, we took our foot off the gas (something we've been punished for before). A win is a win, it's a match that doesn't prove anything but not one worth complaining about either.
