I don't know if I want him gone as were only 2 points off the play offs and 5 off the promotion places, but listening to alan young and some of the rubbish things he comes out with! 'he's done a decent job'. We have spent the most money in the league, and losing to teams like Bristol City, Reading and Millwall if we had turned up for those games we would be sitting happily in the promotion places. Also when did Sven last have a successful spell at a club. He got sacked wrongly by Man City, but he did terribly at Mexico and poorly with Ivory Coast. Also the last point is when the going gets tough, the players aren't going to be scared when Sven is having a quiet word with them at half time you need someone who gives them a good kick up the backside, someone like Neil Warnock.

Yeah, I agree with you. In fact the last time he won anything it was when he was bankrolled to the tune of £274 million at Lazio in the late '90s, at a time when nobody else was spending that much money anyway.

I said give him 12 games, he ahs had 13. We arent where we should be after spending millions and brining in all these 'supposed' quality players.

I cant see how Sven has improved us at all in his time here, we certainly havent even got anywhere near where we should be, yet people defend him.

Why should we be happy with the Po's all of a sudden?! With all the money and players coming in, we should be aiming for ther top two. Squad wise no one can match ours man for man, yet we under perform.

Really think Sven struggles to understand this league, whilst he definitely cant motivate players for these poorer teams.

yet when we win every1 loves him ohh being a leicester fan

I have really questioned his buying, selection and tactics from day one.

And its not just being a Leicester fan, it is being a football fan. I think every fan in the World (regardless of who they support; whether it be Liverpool, Leicester or Lincoln) will always question the manager.

In simple terms, I agree with peterborofox.

yeah but dont you think its abit harsh sometimes alright granted hes spent loads of money and were playing shit but today he kept a winnning team from wednesday and they still lost down to some of the players if you ask me apart from kasper :P

Its time for sven to go,weve had time to gel. Hes built this squad himself, spent alot more than anyone else. People still defend sven but hes completely clueless. He has no plan B and its time we got rid. Weve lost 4 games already and 3 of them are at home. Id rather play borng football and win every week than have one amazing performance and win 4-0 followed by a 2-0 loss then a 2-0 win followed by a 3-0 loss. Its time for sven to go, who agrees???

Sven's major issues are:

1. Lack of motivation. If we had an motivational manager he would enable the best squad in the league to perform. some of our recent displays have been terrible.

2. Playing a formation that creates very few opportunities will not help the best (potentially) strike force in the championship.

Someone made a very good point on RL which is a point I have raised with friends before. You should setup a team to beat the other, just because we won on Wednesday didnt mean we were going to perform well again. Watford arent a team of big physical players like Millwall, so set the team up to match them and out play them.

Steve Howard is a plan B. He would knock the defenders about and give them a game. Where was he? Nowhere again.

I would really be angry if I was one day on the bench, and another day not in the squad.

I do agree with your post though.

not me. so far he's not done that much wrong. Besides, changing managers now would be suicide.

So its acceptable to spend over £10m and see us sat in the lower half of the table? He has got to take responsibility for not being good enough both tactically and in the transfer market.

win the next one and were top half again. win the one after that and were in the play offs.

Then we'll be forming an orderly line to tug off sven .

fickle ****ers the lot of you. If were still bottom half in january, then yes, talk about it then.

Not seen a league table then? Or seen us in "action" this afternoon?

I think a tipping point has been reached. The defeat and the abject manner of it have convinced many fans previously supportive of the management that a change is needed.

But it is all if's and but's.

It wont happen though.

Just got back from the game and as a sven fan i have to admit im fed up with the last two perfomances , apart from hitting the bar we were useless , im no expert ill admit but we dont seem to have any decent wingers and all the balls are played through the middle which makes us very predictable , still hoping sven can sort it and were only 2 points off play offs so keeping the faith but just.

I don't want another manager change, I dread the thought, it all starts again and the moaning would still continue, we'd be in the same boat, a bad loss today and very disappointing but we seem to nearly always come up short against teams we should kill off without too much stress, at the end of the day it's still only 13 games and we are not exactly in a poor position.

We were in the top half yesterday, I didn't have much confidence in Sven then either.

For me, the fact that we looked demoitvated today was very worrying. He's got no qualities in this area of management. Some people belittle this and think being vocal and passionate is not important, it bloody well is. Pearson demanded a certain standard and even if we won 4-1 he'd be disappointed about not keeping a clean sheet. If he wasn't happy with a display he's give the players a kick up the arse.

How are we fickle when a lot of us have been constantly questionning Sven for a while now?

Agree with this. I think that today - or maybe the last week - will go onto be seen as the point where the current regime have started to lose their grip - anybody other than Watford, and it would have been no more than 1 point from these three games - and 30 minutes against the poorest team in this division aside - three performances which see us look anything but promotion chasers. Can't remember feeling so flat leaving a game as this afternoon.

Really? He's been here a year now, spent £11m on players, **** knows how much on wages - and nothing has changed.

Keeping a side in mid-table in the Championship is something Pearson could have done for us on a tenth of the money. Ditto for several seasoned managers at this level, even if they only had access to the loan market. Preserving mediocrity is not why he's here.
