Lets put this in perspective shall we ... firstly I personally hope you do get MON back some managers just belong at a club and I think he does at Leicester although to be honest I'm not sure he will return to a after Celtic and Villa not sure his ego will allow but he is an excellent manager and just seems to me he is not rushing back with open arms .... to be honest if he is not 100% certain you will be better looking elsewhere. I hear that Gus Poyet is looking to leave ;-) I have a couple of points / questions before I go ... when did Leicester become a big club? As far as I can remember you have always been one of the genuine clubs with genuine supporters .... like Palace you have had good times and bad. What really bothers me is that now you have an owner with money some of the less intelligent of you feel you have a god given right to success ... it may happen but it may come at a terrible price ..............the soul of your club is being destroyed .... just look at Chelsea ok maybe a poor mans Chelsea but you see what I mean. And how can some of you criticize our squad .... most of football is falling over themselves at the quality of young players coming through our academy ...... or do you (now you’re a big super rich club) just judge a good squad by the price paid rather than ability ?? I realise that there are many rational, sensible Leicester fans some even come on our BB As far as this SSN rumor goes any sensible person knows its crap ..... although if its true I would be more worried about the people running your club and their foot ball knowledge Dougie is new to management and is doing a terrific job so far at building the right infrastructure and stable platform .... only time will tell if he will be good enough but so far he is doing an excellent job. What worries me about how your club is being run is that there is no stability its big money = instant success syndrome if a new manager come in and does not get promotion does he get sacked and the next manager wheeled thro the door? Ok I’m off so you can start the abuse again and thank you … it been a real privilege and honor to post on the BB of a big club ………………… I would suggest a big club is measured by success in the past 10 years … looks like your just a ‘tin pot’ (to quote one of your intelligent poster) like us. We haven't become a massive club - but I do think with the right finance in place a bit of stability etc, we probably just about belong in the prem, albeit probably the lower reaches. Some of our supporters have gone billy big boll ocks very quickly though. I actually quite like Palace as its always good banter there, good atmosphere in the stadium, good drinking to be done nearby, well, my bunch always look out for Palace away anyway. Don't like Zaha though, he's an odious so and so. Best of luck for the rest of the season and don't worry, I'm certain we really don't want Freedman. If we do, I genuinely despair.

Unbelievable that somebody from South London, which is basically a ghetto, could have that audacity. For his/her attention, i'm digging out my comment about the Millwall fans. It still applies, they're all cvnts down there: Born Blue, it you've read my posts ( and you couldn't be more pro-Palace than me) you'll see I've said nothing but nice things about Leicester. Most of us have no grind whatever with you, except we'd rather you didn't take the manager who has been doing rather well for us. You clearly don't know anything about South London if you confuse Palace and Millwall. We're not friends with them. Fair play gents. It was the inbred Northerner comment I took objection with. Can't be bothered to flick back and see who it was who posted it. I actually don't mind the Palace to be fair.

In relative terms, ie. travelling time, they're not far away from each other - so just local rivallry? I think Palace draw fans from Sussex area. There aren't many clubs down that neck of the woods so they all support Brighton, Palace and (mainly) Man Utd.

I'm in Kent and we only have Gillingham around here in terms of league sides. Pretty much no one in Kent supports Palace, Brighton, Millwall etc though. It's all United, Liverpool, Arsenal or Charlton. I bet Palace hate Charlton too. They seem to hate everyone and rightly so. We should merge with them. Keep our kit though. I don't like their kit. Quick question to everyone - who likes Palace's kit? Anyone? I can qualify that by saying I sort of almost liked that white one with the red and blue flashing or sash or something they had a bit ago.

I personally think that Dougie will only manage well at Palace, a bit like Curbishley at the Clowns, so it's not even worth trying to get him. I hope you get someone decent, who will be given a bit of time to fashion/mould the team in his own image. It sickens me the way success has to be instanaeous nowadays, chairmen (in the main) have no patience do they? Anyways, good luck in yer search.

Yes there are some who just believe it is our right to be promoted. I believe that given the investment in all aspects of the club we have to be promoted hence this merrygoround for a manager. when your manager is linked with a club it is natural to feel the need to look at what the other clubs fans are saying. I can also understand when you see some of the radical comments posted the need to reply. 90% of fans are normal rational people and then you have 10% who fall in another catergory. Some may believe it is banter but the line is very fine. I think you are acheiving well above what is expected but sometimes things click and a new era starts. Seems to me that the players are happy under Dougie and rise to his call. Fair play hope it continues(as long as we finish above you) Hopefully our new era is dawning.

But i would sooner have other mangers like Billy Davies , Simon Grayson , Dave Jones who are all experienced in this division. I think he's done a great job there and I reckon he might manage you lot for some time and really increase his already cult status... BUT we've just sacked Sven Goran Eriksson. It's like when we went from a front two of Collymore and Heskey to 2 from Trev/Fenton/Akinbiyi in about 2 months. It just shouldn't happen. Expectations are higher. If you lot had millions and millions of pounds, do you think Freedman would ever have got the job? No. To be fair, its one of the few times a manager hasn't been sacked and you haven't gone crying to Steve Coppell (although I have to admit he always did a job for you lot - just let Bristol City down). Now Bristol City - THEY are tinpot. Did I tell you they wouldn't just roll over and let us have their best player?
