somebum Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I am concerned Top will call up Mandaric and ask for some kind of advice. Wasn't he a fan of Dowie?
Wycombe Fox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Do you think Top has deleted Sven's number from his phone yet? Maybe Sven should have been 'moved upstairs' as Director of Football with someone else managing the team. That way we would have retained both a high profile name and Sven's address book. Clutching at straws now. I can see tears.

THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Palace supporters are a right bunch of c unts to be honest. They're more like us than we are
Kitchandro Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Palace supporters are a right bunch of c unts to be honest. They're more like us than we are Really, really hope they die. ****s.
palacethruandthru Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 You Leicester lot are a joke. Freedman probably won't do any good for you cos he's Palace through and through and this is his first job and he's doing pretty well! (we're doing better than you this year and he's only spent 1 million) What the fcuk are you doing sacking your manager on 19 points, you jokers, with those crazy owners there's only trouble ahead for the foxes. They'll pull out and you'll be up the creek sans paddle! Here's hoping anyway.
Taliscpfc Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 SSN reporting Leicester approaching Palace to speak with manager Dougie Freidman!! Tell me it's all a bloody nightmare!!! Please tell me it is too! Sorry to butt into your forum, and I promise I'll go away again just as soon as I've posted this...but... Dougie is the best thing that's happened to us in years (apart from CPFC2010 who got us out of administration of course). Can't believe where we are now, and how well we're playing. If you lot can afford Sven and Martin O'Neill you don't need the Doog. Leave him with us please! Thank you Talis CPFC (returns to the Crystal Palace board)

Guest Col city fan Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Just about to go out on a stag do in sunny skeggy! So footballs gotta take a back seat for the next few hours in favour of lager and roly polys.. Got a feeling this is gonna end up in us getting Dougie.... Hic...
The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 This is just to focus MON's mind a bit. Even doug must know that! Unsettling a few of the top 6's managers and squads and shifting their focus is not a bad idea either.

Taliscpfc Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 You don't have to tell us, we don't want him. On the face of it, it would seem a futile move as Freedman has constantly talked about his "long term" project as Selhurst Park and has gone on record numerous times to talk about his love of the Eagles. That's from our board. You don't want him, and we don't want to let him go. No problem is there? I believe a certain Mr Dowie is free....

flanimal Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I believe a certain Mr Dowie is free.... Is Dowie as bad as people say?
Kitchandro Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 This is just to focus MON's mind a bit. Even doug must know that! Unsettling a few of the top 6's managers and squads and shifting their focus is not a bad idea either. I'm not sure if you're joking but other people have said that, it doesn't make any sense to me. Why would this sway him? Unless you mean he'd see the other names mentioned and come here out of pity.
The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I think what all you eagles forget when going on about this long term project at dirty dirty selhurst is the massive persuasive influence a massive wedge of cash has. This is a game changer for someone like DF. Don't panic though, we don't really want him. He's a pawn in the game, a cog in the wheel, it's all cloak and dagger. Top's wearing the cloak and he looks bloody dashing in it. Even you lot can't deny that. MON is the target. Everyone else is just a case of various contingencies and brinksmanship.
Leicfox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Freedman is going to be Leicester manager, probably. And Dowie will more than likely take over at Crystal Palace. That is definitely on the cards..
The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Anyone noticed jimmy willis has odds for the job with 2 bookies. Wtf? **** it, get him in.
Taliscpfc Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Is Dowie as bad as people say? No, I don't think so - and this is just my personal opinion. He did OK for us, got us into the Premier League, and we only went down on the very last day of the season, having done a reasonable job given we're not a rich club with a big stadium. His cardinal sin from our point of view was leaving us to manage Charlton. They're not exactly our best pals - I suppose its like your manager leaving to join Derby? You could do a lot worse.
The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 If anyone leaves us to go to derby it's basically because we wanted shot.
