Kitchandro Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Odd seeing as you've been pleading for this situation for months, without really seeing that it's not so easy to get in a snappy replacement. Not without upsetting the apple cart by looking at replacements with the incumbent still "in charge". You wanted this, you got it. No you're wrong, I never once posted that I wanted us to sack Sven then fumble in the dark for a new manager. I did often say he was the wrong man for the job and I stand by that. But obviously we need a manager
Dabizas Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Why are people saying this would be different with sven! I know because we raise our game against the good teams, correct but same can be said we should expect to loose against the worser teams! If Sven was here people would of took a point I feel, so being 2 0 down does not prove we was wrong to get rid of Sven in my opinion!
Lillehamring Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 we've actually had 53% possession, shame we've done nothing with it...
seenitall Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Derby 3 up. I said at the start I thought they had a chance this year, I was mocked, I will still be mocked. I hope the mockers are correct. If only they'd got rid of Clough after a year instead of giving him 2 or 3 - the fools
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 No you're wrong, I never once posted that I wanted Sven sacked unless we got the right man in sharpish. I did often say he was the wrong man for the job and I stand by that. But obviously we need a manager So you WOULD have looked for a replacement behind the boss's back? Cos I can't see how you can appoint a replacement in five days without doing that.
Guest Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 If only they'd got rid of Clough after a year instead of giving him 2 or 3 - the fools +1
reynard Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Why does Wellens continue to take corners? They are always poor.
Happy Fox Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Are the players feeling sorry for themselves?
Guest Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Why does Wellens continue to take corners? They are always poor. No danns or Gally I guess, but I agree with you. Wellens thinks he's the boss too.
Tielemans63 Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 The more I'm sat with a load of cackling cockneys the more I'm really thinking of walking out at half time. I've also realised that the guy we need is sat on the West Ham bench.
Kitchandro Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 So you WOULD have looked for a replacement behind the boss's back? Cos I can't see how you can appoint a replacement in five days without doing that. I would have had some conversations yes. And I wouldn't be looking at bringing in Lee Clark or Dougie Freedman.
cc_star Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 People are assuming 1 game was the difference between being sacked or not, whether it was the 1 game defeat against Millwall proving that Sven should be sacked, or this 1 game losing against West Ham proving that he shouldn't be sacked It's not about 1 game, he's not here because over a year we weren't good enough, starting with halftime against Derby when we were 2-0 last season and looking like brasil, they actually put a tackle in in tthe second half and we can;t live with team who tackle us, unfurtunately for Derby they forgot how to tackle again a couple of weeks ago when we stuffed them, but teams know if they're organised & tackle they will do well against us, whether it's dreadful 1-1 away at Barnsley or the woeful performances against Cardiff, Birmingham & Millwall It was never about just the Millwall game, just like it's not going to be about this one. It is about the 30+ games we're going to have under a new guy.... just as long as it's not some stupid unworkable Director of Football setup, they always end in tears
Langston Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 I hope, one day - Beckford pulls his head out of his own arse. Get the impression he'd bum himself if he could.
Master Fox Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 I've said before and I'll say it again. The problem with our team is the midfield. King Abe, Wellens are utter garbage.
Tielemans63 Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 With a few minor exceptions our team are a loads of ***** really aren't they?
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 This was going to happen whether sven was in charge or not. We are not good enough atm and desperately need a new manager with different ideas to get us playing together and winning games anyway possible. Keegan and Clark or Keegan and Pearson would suit this, just need to hurry up with it or the season will go away from us. Can rule out finishing top now. This.. West Ham was always gonna be a tough game with or without SGE. They are a strong, well managed unit at this level
Langston Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Second half is anyone's. Come on boys. The talent is there. Pay the fans, especially those that forked out dollar to go to Upton and Sven a little respect.
dannythefox Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 I hope, one day - Beckford pulls his head out of his own arse. Get the impression he'd bum himself if he could. Same. I thought yes great signing now I've seen him am not so sure!
Master Fox Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Hopefully the new manager can bring in a decent forward in January. Or just play Schlupp and Howard, Which is what i would do.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 RIP Jimmy Savile. I bet even he wouldn't have been able to fix Leicester
nuttytimmy Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Youngy really doesn't like Bamba does he? Does he know who he is? It sounds like he still thinks we signed ex-England, Arsenal and Spurs defender Sol Campbell instead of ex-Ivory Coast, Dunfermline and Hibs defender Sol 'Sol' Bamba...
Langston Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 With a few minor exceptions our team are a loads of ***** really aren't they? There are a fair few exceptions, actually. Dyer, Danns, Mills, Kasper, Schlupp, Peltier, Nugent....
Burmesefox Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Beckford arguing with Nugent. Konchesky arguing with Stowell. Not looking good, is it? Something tells me Beckford would start a fight in a playgroup. Strikes me as one arsey fooker - reckon he needs a firm hand.
