Passion

Is it coincidence that we gave the most passionate, heartfelt performance this season in the first game that Sven has gone?

This is what we lacked under Sven - some fvcking desire and aggressive football.

Maybe, but we didn't show any passion first half.

I am convinced that we wouldn't have made a game of that after being 2-0 down under Sven though.

More coincidence that it happened once Beckford went off.

Yeh, and when Howard came on. Talk about ****ing chalk and cheese.

I said all along that sven is no motivator, and he was completely the wrong appointment. We need someone who can whip up the troops

after all is said and done, if we hadn't of conceded 2 goals in a min.

it would have been an awesome away point.

agree leic seemed better after beckford went off, but would of liked Danns on instead of abe, seems abe needing a long rest

When we hot ourselves back into it to 2-1, but then quickly conceded a 3rd I thought we'd fold, but we didn't we kept going for the goal all the way to the end, we haven't done that for a long time

Shit loads of passion at home against Derby.

Yeh it's true we did show some passion in some games, especially the 3 derbies. We took our foot off the gas for others though and thought we only had to turn up.

We need to show passion for 90 minutes in every game. That goes for today as well, we only showed it second half.

Love it how so many people on here equate 'having passion' and 'playing well'.

****'s sake, do you really think the mercenaries at Man City have any 'passion' for their club? No, of course they don't. They have good players and a manager who plays a system that allows them to play to their strengths. We really don't have either at the minute.

Just spoken to my son who was at the game.

Rob green did make a gesture towards us lot at the end, cos we'd been winding him up about ruining England etc....

And Beckford was a complete waste of space...

We're not on about passion for the club :frusty:

We're on about 100% committment and playing in a fashion which isn't just going through the motions, a display with confidence and belief and drive.

So you're talking about professionalism?

Howard is everything Beckford isn't, passionate and fights for the team. You know you will get 100% from him. His a great impact player.

In fact yeah, that game at Coventry and most the game at Forest, but Cov especially was up there with the most pumped up and passionate I can ever remember seeing from a Leicester team.

I think the problem is they only seem to show any fight and drive when the pressure's on. When they've just won and are going to a place like Barnsley or Birmingham, they seem to turn up thinking that's all they have to do. In games after we've lost or drawn and it looks like we need a win, or in local derbies, it's like we've felt we've got something to prove and we've played better.

Reminds me of the time we lost 1-0 @ Upton Park a few years ago when Ian Walker was in goal for us and David James was in goal for them. Our fans were chanting 'Englands number 1, Englands Englands number 1' to Ian Walker but the West Ham fans replied 'Englands, number 6, englands Englands number 6'. :crylaugh:

Slow, with poor touch and can't jump.
