Pathetic.

Some of the comments on this thread are ridiculous and shame not only the forum but the entire City fanbase.

In this thread alone, Keane has been labelled an "animal" and compared to a child rapist, various overseas despots, and serial killers. Yet people are labelling him as unhinged, and conveniently overlook the only reason he's in the frame to manage is because of a recommendation from St Martin himself.

The last time this level of hysteria was seen on these boards was when Milan Mandaric launched his takeover bid. Anyone who objected to him was vilified and damned as "not real City fans". But look how HE turned out.

Just laugh at it, I've been pissing myself all day.

Err... one's a controversial footballer-turned-manager from Ireland, the other a psychotic dictator who's been responsible for a mass exodus of White Zimbabweans and brought the country to ruins, with all the wealth from Diamonds and Platinum sales going into his and his cronies' pockets?

Can you get any more far-fetched in your comparisons?

I think you will find the comparison between Mugabe and Keane was a joke! But I must say I actually find your posts a constant source of amusement anyway.

The comments made comparing Keane to Mugabe etc were not meant to be taken literally for Gods sake!

It does show however how strongly people feel about the possibility of this animal (no apology for using that title) being appointed as our next manager.

Never have I felt so strongly against any guy being brought to our club as manager. I detest Keane with a vengence & would feel sick if the owners chose him.

Neil Warnock was not wanted by many City fans (not myself though) a few seasons ago, but that was down to comments he made regarding City when they were in 'receivership'.

Incidentally if he were available, NW would be my first choice as our new manager, I like the guy, he's a real character, he calls a spade a spade & is a darned good manager.

Keane is a hate figure, detested by many football supporters, not just City supporters. God help us if we resort to the sewers & appoint this piece of shit.

keane is vermin, im afraid.

the following list would be used to categorise antisocial personality disorders, and is generally applied to the despots you were discussing before:

1. Callous unconcern for the feelings of others and lack of the capacity for empathy. - haaland incident

2. Gross and persistent attitude of irresponsibility and disregard for social norms, rules, and obligations. haaland incident mccarthy incident

3. Incapacity to maintain enduring relationships. ferguson, mccarthy etc etc incidents

4. Very low tolerance to frustration and a low threshold for discharge of aggression, including violence. every game he played in?

5. Incapacity to experience guilt and to profit from experience, particularly punishment. obviously wasn't guilty about the haaland tackle, otherwise why write the book.

6. Markedly prone to blame others or to offer plausible rationalizations for the behavior bringing the subject into conflict. Mick, you're a liar... you're a ****ing willy puller. I didn't rate you as a player, I don't rate you as a manager, and I don't rate you as a person. You're a ****ing willy puller and you can stick your World Cup up your arse. The only reason I have any dealings with you is that somehow you are the manager of my country! You can stick it up your bollocks.

7. Persistent irritability. see dude's career.

bottom line: roy keane may well be a real life patrick bateman ?

How the hell can you have a dig at Keane and then suck off a REAL lowlife like Warnock?:angry:

Keane achieved more in his first two years of management than that scumbag did in his entire career. And I reckon if you check out Warnock's Wikipedia page, you'll see he's still (after Dennis Wise) the most loathsome character ever to have infested English football.

If you Keane sympathisers are excusing/making light of his many character flaws, then surely you would want Warnock to get the job? Let's face it, by any measure you wish to apply, he's 100x the manager Keane has shown himself to be.

what has happened to our fans since we have been taken over. everyone seem to think we are suddenly a massive club, you moan like its the end of the world when we lose a game and moan about having any other manager apart from mon. Lee clarke is no good, roy keane is no good, billy davies is no good etc etc. Seriously they are all top managers, everyone is going over the top about roy keane, and sending emails to susan whelan is beyond embarrasing. I really wouldnt mind keane in charge. So basically everyone needs to stop being so greedy and ignorant about leicester. Plus if we won our first 5 games under keane you would all be saying hes god and the new mon lol cringe

Yeah, we get it, you don't like MO'N.

People have their opinions about managers, if they don't feel they are good enough or not the right fit then they'll say.

It doesn't make us think we're a massive club.

Just because because people think others are going ridiculously over the top, does not mean they have the man as first choice for manager.

But yes, at the time MM wanted him. I again said I don't share others views on Warnock and that he was a good manager.
