Ash Chambo is doing well at York

And has just been called up for the England C team

When he says he is old school, does he mean he is lazy, fat and can't be arsed?.

Maybe that explains why he didn't make it in League 1 and above.

im waiting for the 20 page essay from Thracian...

he'll ignore the 9 goals in 40 games for a league two side last season, of course.

I do hope he gets to the top though. does have a bit of potential and seems a nice lad....

I've said it all in the past. Billy's a damn good striker who's biggest problem is staying fit and sharp, He looked wkek enough watching Westerby Cup tie at Quorn and Paul Pesky should be as good a judge of a goalscorer as you could get.

If I could compare Kee to anyone it would be Arthur Rowley in the he forever manoeuvres into a position and just has a crack. Yes, he can play a bit too and is well capable of involving others but he's very goal orientated as a striker, and always dangerous.

Twenty-six goals in 93 league games is close to one every 3.5 games and that's not bad for a kid who has now lifted his ratio to two goals every three matches plus 7 in 15 representative matches for Northern Ireland.

Fitness, confidence and having people around him who believe both in him and in attacking seem to be his ingredients for success and he never had much of any once he left the shelter of Beaglehole's Academy set-up. He was one of the victims of Taggart-time when we had no reserves team to speak of and when several of our youngsters were sacrificed on the altar of Mandaric's foreign flops.

He also had injury problems at Leicester.
