Leicester Fans

I think we have probably the 3rd best fans in the Championship just behind Leeds and West Ham, and I'd say Southampton are fourth. But most fans in this league think our fans are terrible. Such a joke. Is it just because we have money other teams envy the amount of money we have got. I don't know. Taken 6300 to Coventry, 4200 to Forest, 2000 to Barnsley at £30 a ticket, 3000 at West Ham and 2000 at Rotherham for a midweek carling cup 1st round game. I don't like it when we sing 'loyal supporters' because its cringey. But I really do think we have great support but other teams in the championship don't see it! :scarf:

i would just say there isn't as much atmosphere at the king power nowadays....

And we turn on our own players within 5 games if they dont run around alot.

There are many reasons for this. The shocking atmosphere at the KP is a large contributor, the money we have makes teams jealous, the attitude of some fans thinking we are a massive club is embarrassing. Fans on FB and Twitter giving it large and not being able to take the return banter(mainly 15yr olds that think they're all that), could also be we have a fair few fans of an older age which are seen as 'uninteresting'. Then there are people that don't like the club cos they think we are boring after our winning but not pretty football and also the fact Leicester as a city isn't too popular due to the ethnic variety. Personally as a group of fans away from home and at home sometimes, we're loud, have some decent banter and usually have good numbers. We've stuck through our team through thick and thin but still support with some noise and generally we keep out of trouble.

Edit: Oh and then there is is our fans habit of blaming everybody else, e.g minutes silence against Derby and Leeds, when it was 6 and two 3s, aswell as turning on our own fans when they turn up for a big game.

were not a BIG BIG club but were one of the bigger clubs in this league. And I know the home atmopshere is awful but everyones is really at home.

In terms of numbers many clubs would want the amount of fans we get at home and regularly take away.

I doubt they'd want the over-the-top moaning though.

Agree with the first post.

Agree with that.

Blowing our own trumpet again. Why is it good that we took 7k 20 miles down the road on the opening day of what we thought was gonna be the promotion winning season? West Ham- the last season at their ground (id never been before and wanted to go) the game wasn't on tv, and its a day on the piss in London (and incidentally the vocal support was naff in the first half). 4.2k to forest- the game which the majority believe to be the biggest game of our season. 30 quid for barnsley doesn't seem that steep. Not when we've paid that for forest, west ham (derby n Leeds will cost that too)

We aren't the envy of many clubs in this league despite what you may want to think. even if we were then what's the point in patting yourself on the back about it?

Who cares what other fans think just go to the games you can and enjoy them in the way you want to everything else is just forum chat bollocks
