Stay Positive Posted 13 November 2011 Posted 13 November 2011 All the space those clothes take up in my wardrobe - it won't be an issue anymore. One click, and I can download all my clothes to iClothing. Not only that, but if I'm not wearing them, they can't tear or wear out, can they? One of the many pros over and above physical clothing. You can share with friends without any fear of them damaging your clothes, and even if the clothes are great but you look crap in them, it won't matter because they'll just be on a screen in all their glory. I know, I really am a genius.
Stay Positive Posted 13 November 2011 Author Posted 13 November 2011 Have you been drinking? Perhaps.
The Doctor Posted 13 November 2011 Posted 13 November 2011 Word of advice - musings from drunken thoughts are best left ignored.
Fox92 Posted 13 November 2011 Posted 13 November 2011 I think a rule in inventing something is that you don't tell anyone before it has actually been invented because they might pinch the idea?
SystonFox Posted 13 November 2011 Posted 13 November 2011 Word of advice - musings from drunken thoughts are best left ignored. Wrong LA! Musings from drunken thoughts are often the very best and must be followed up to achieve there full potential!
Steven Posted 13 November 2011 Posted 13 November 2011 Word of advice - musings from drunken thoughts are best left ignored. The Visigoths thought differently.
Stay Positive Posted 14 November 2011 Author Posted 14 November 2011 Erm...let's just forget I ever posted this, eh? In the cold light of day, and sober, it doesn't seem quite such a good idea... Having said that, the idea of everyone having virtual clothes instead of physical ones doesn't sound THAT much sillier to me than books and CDs become obsolete because of virtual versions. Plus, if it caught on with the female population, we'd all be happy...
Rincewind Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 Well maybe you could have some sort of gadget that you scan yourself with. Like a hologram covering. Maybe you could adjust the tempeture as well. The instruments would have to be set for personal use or else you could go around waving it at women. Would not be good for clothes manufacturers. The idea will need some working on.
Stay Positive Posted 15 November 2011 Author Posted 15 November 2011 Would you just be naked all of the time then? So what's new?
