Rincewind Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 Well mine are a sort of bargin or me just being tight-arsed. Bit short this year so I went through my DVD collection and wrapped some that I am unlikely to watch much in the future. Mind this is an improvement to last year when I never got round to buying hardly any presents. But I was told it did not matter. I have four brothers and a sister all with partners or family a mum and step-dad, nephews and nieces grown up at least one with a family. Where do I start and where do I stop with the buying? And what do I get? No doubt I will feel guilty when I find out they have all got me something.

What we and the in-laws do is pick a name out of the hat and just spend £10 on that person, 8 people in the hat. Maybe you could do something similar Ken ? but i would imagine its a little late to do it this year.

Seperate, tried the combined once and she wasnt too happy, dont think she gets a good deal from others either"thats for birthday and christmas"but if her birthday was in june no way would they spend as little.

I feel her pain, my birthdays two days before Christmas. The combo present used to be annoying when I was younger but I'm not too fussed now, its more annoying that you can't really do anything for your birthday because everyones so preoccupied with Christmas.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Well funny being 400 quid down two weeks before christmas ain't it. Unable to work properly n all that. God I hope we get drawn against your lot in the csfl cup
Christoph Posted 13 December 2011 Author Posted 13 December 2011 My birthday is in june. God I hope we get drawn against your lot in the csfl cup im afraid there are too many people who want something for nothing these days rather than graft, who couldnt give a s**t about someone elses possessions, you really need to keep nagging the police and become a pain in the ass.

I know. Fortunately there have been a few burgalaries round doleville recently. They must all be linked. Hopefully dome have witnesses/evidence which leads to catching them. It's a double whammy because the loss of these tools prevents me from earning money to then buy replacements! The missis isn't happy at all after me buying flights to the ukraine, now ill have to spend the same amount on drills! Roll on Christmas
