Kitchandro Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Watching it on the stream, it's hard to see light at the end of the tunnel. We are so clueless in possession. They have no confidence when they get the ball and don't dare pass it because they know it will be given away within 3 passes. To be honest, I feel the same, I'd rather them not bother trying to play it on the floor anymore, they are so bad at it. Abe and Wellens are non-existant. The defending isn't good enough, Bamba has been poor. We've done OK down the right with Gallager and Peltier but even when we've put decent crosses in there's no one who will attack a header. It's painful to watch
Kitchandro Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 We looked like a classy passing team under Sven who couldn't put the ball in the net. Recently we've looked clueless. Midfield is the problem - Why are the midfielders all those from before Sven took over? Hardly ever. We've got Pearson's midfielders because Sven's are as bad.
Corky Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I can't see a relegation battle, we're not that bad. We're just really, really uninspiring (and have been since the opening day) and mediocre. Actually, having said that, we shouldn't totally ignore the bottom of the league. They are picking up points while we pretty much stand still. I don't believe we will get into that situation and I'm hoping that things improve dramatically.
Callabinho Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 This is pretty shocking, even without the ball Ipswich are working so much harder than us. Unfortunately the rest of our season hinges on the transfer window. One question I have is why will he not try Fernandes?
Cropwellfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Unbelievably sky sports only have Ipswich at 11/8 for the win - lump on so at least there's some free beer for foxes fans. What a load of shit we are.
MikeyT Posted 26 December 2011 Author Posted 26 December 2011 King on? What's the thought process? Reckon it's 4-3-3 now, with Nugent on the left. At least that's what Stringer said i think.
Guest Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Peterborough are the top Midlands club in the championship and they are 12th.
MikeyT Posted 26 December 2011 Author Posted 26 December 2011 Beckford - Nugent - Gallagher King - Wellens - Abe ??
Libertine Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Beckford - Nugent - Gallagher King - Wellens - Abe ?? Beckford middle. Edit: OOPS
Cropwellfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 It's working well so far we actually look worse ffs

Milton Keynes Fox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 anyone else finding that watching this team is actually so frustrating?
Guest Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Hardly ever. We've got Pearson's midfielders because Sven's are as bad. Obviously we have different opinions and you've as much right to yours as I have to mine. Danns and Gelson are better than anyone we have in midfield today. they support the defenders and the attackers - they need a playmaker with them but that is certainly not Wellens. King and Gally have their moments but have their deficiencies defensively. I'm pretty sure that our reuslts defensively are better with Danns and gelson in support than not. I like our GK and back 4 but they need midfield cover. I like nugent and Beckford SHOULD be good but they have no support from midfield. Gally plays on his own
MikeyT Posted 26 December 2011 Author Posted 26 December 2011 How long now since we scored from a corner?
Guest Bilo Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 How long now since we scored from a corner? It may actually be Man City, no fooling.
MikeyT Posted 26 December 2011 Author Posted 26 December 2011 It may actually be Man City, no fooling. Think you may be right actually. Would have been Bamba then. So 27 games ish? Or did i just make that up.
