We were very fortunate in many of the earlier games to come away with anything, but somehow did, and as they say luck evens itself out over the course of the season.

Unfortunately, we had Akinbiyi, who was expected to hold the ball up centrally, which would often bounce straight back to the opposition... We were still defensively sound because we had Lennon employed in front of the back 3 - Soon as he departed, it was all downhill in terms of the way we functioned, but the decline didn't start until Wycombe...
