broughtonblue Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 This bloke must be so pissed off, our midfield is so crap at the mo but he can't get a look in, not even on the bench much. Scores 4 for the reserves and has apparently an awesome display but still doesn't get a sniff. Surely worth a 3 or 4 game run?
kingfox Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 Him and Yuki Abe did nothing wrong to be dropped, yet he keeps on playing Wellens and King two players who on merit this season should be first out of the exit door come January. Fernandes is probably the best passer of the ball in midfield, and scoring 4 in reserves aswell is incredible, he wasn't even on the bench on Monday, say's it all really that Pearson thinks Wellens, King and Danns are better options when there not. We need to buy attacking minded central midfielders, sell Wellens, send Johnson back and keep King, Fernandes and Yuki however at this rate Gelson will be sent back sadly.
Drift Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 I'd like to see him get a chance too. But to be honest, given that he's only a loanee I can't see Pearson being that bothered about whether he's playing or not.
cc_star Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 Not sure what people don't get, he was here for 1 man & a paycheck, he'll be gone within days (unfortunately) He doesn't want to be here or play for us. Now back to the real world... How do you think people like Schlupp feel, reduced to 2min substitute appearance when the pattern is already set & seeing someone like Beckford be automatic choice no matter how disinterested he has been or how inept his record is, & looks about as likely as forming a partnership with Nugent as oil does with water.

Yep... Spot on as usual

Babylon Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 Him and Yuki Abe did nothing wrong to be dropped Dropped? Who dropped them? Sven was mostly playing Wellens, King and Gallagher when fit in front of most of his own signings anyway.

You could put that fernandes only came here on loan to play for Sven in bright light's but peeps still would not see it :xmaslaugh: and Johnson sometime's get mentioned too even though he was also on loan and very unfit. As for Beckford, two game's ago there we're some on here saying he should be given a chance yet again and he was and still failed, though i must admit he did improve in the last game he was still poor. Nigel could throw Schlupp, who is still developing, into the deep end but if it went wrong and peeps layed into the youngster it could very well be the end of him here. Maybe Nigel is going to give Beckford every chance before bining him, he can't just go into the boardroom after a handful of game's and tell them that the multi million pound striker Sven brought should be gotten rid of because he is rubbish :xmaslaugh:

Callabinho Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 When Pearson doesn't like someone, well D.J....
renards Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 When Pearson doesn't like someone, well D.J.... Max Gradel anyone
Mack Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 Fernandes has taken umbrage ever since Sven left.
Tuna Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 i think pearson is looking at the players and saying i will focus on the players who are contracted and not on loan, you can't blame him. the likes of wellens and king are contracted for years whilst gelson is on a short term loan. if i were perason i'd do the same thing, but he should at least give gelson a run out.
gazfox9 Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 Everyone keeps saying he's fcuked off at not being played and Svens sacking, surely if he was that annoyed he'd ask to go back to St Ettienne??? The way I see it our midfield is underperforming badly, and the best/in form players need to be given the starts. Whilst this isn't happening it either suggests NP don't think the alternatives are good enough or he does favour his old guard. Either way if they carry on like this the midfield could end up causing NP a few more problems, as the owners have proved they aint big on patience.
