bridlington Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Just for info, barmby announced in his press conference we've agreed a deal to keep Brady until the end of the season. To tell you the truth, most of us aren't all that fond of him.
Horibbly Wrong Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 My mother in law lives in Bridlington, near to the Spa
Happy Fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Close the thread he has signed on loan to Hull for the rest of the season http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16431262.stm?
Rich Fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Close the thread he has signed on loan to Hull for the rest of the season http://news.bbc.co.u...l/16431262.stm? Think we all know that but he could be sold still like Mark Davies was when we had him on loan from Wolves and he was bought by Bolton.

How could we? http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2567521,00.html The Club is pleased to confirm that the loan of Robbie Brady from Manchester United has been extended until the end of the season. Brady joined the Tigers on loan from the Old Trafford club during the summer and has since made 22 appearances. The winger can now look forward to spending the remainder of the 2011/12 campaign with the Tigers' first team squad.

Bet there changing there minds about Fryatt now.

Bet there changing there minds about Fryatt now. He started the season like a house on fire but he just infuriates more often than not now. He will beat his man then refuse to take him on for the next half an hour. He's not really made his mark on a game for about 2 months now and his disciplinary record isn't great either. He also let himself down defensively not tracking a runner which cost us late on against middlesbrough on boxing day.

Because we can still bid for him and, if we agree a price with Manure then he can be recalled to sign for us - like Mark Davies move to Bolton while on loan with us in the 08-09 season.

I do not think that is true on this. That can only be used for short term loans only. We can buy him now but would not be able to register him until next season as until then he is a Dull player. We had the same situation with Max Gradel when he was with Bournemouth the season we went down. Because the loan was extended in January it is considered season long which means the player can not be recalled until the end of the season. However if Man Utd and Dull came to a mutual agreement then and only then can the loan be terminated.

I'm surprised that no one else on this Forum has picked up that this could mean that Dull are going to be selling Stewart. I don't know if Brady is a left or right sided player, but I know he hasn't been starting many games - probably because Stewart has been. If they have signed him for the rest of the season (and Fergie never likes his Loaned out players not be playing regularly), then I'm willing to bet that Dull could be bringing him in instead of Stewart.
samstown92 Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Fourth Official just tweeted saying he has extended his loan spell with Hull, so this won't happen but hope it means Stewart can leave!
SuitedandBooted Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Hmm that signing of Brady went well for you i see. Amazing how much pull Pearson has over the youngsters from man Utd eh????
Tom17LCFC Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Hmm that signing of Brady went well for you i see. Amazing how much pull Pearson has over the youngsters from man Utd eh???? Think we'd rather have Stewart anyway mate, but cheers for your concern.
ealingfox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I'd peacefully advise Hull fans to try and keep their chat to a minimum until the 1st February to be honest. Egg is so hard to clean off one's face.
SuitedandBooted Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 and what makes you think Stewarts coming?
SuitedandBooted Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Just to clear up a popular misconception, Pearson didn't use his knowledge to sniff out our Man U signings/loans, this person did: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Joyce
Happy Fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Just to clear up a popular misconception, Pearson didn't use his knowledge to sniff out our Man U signings/loans, this person did: http://en.wikipedia....ki/Warren_Joyce So what is your point we are getting Cameron Stewart end of discussion. Cheerio back to Dull
Craig Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I remember the days when Pearson definitely wasn't returning...
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I wish the Dull fans would fvck off and watch their own forum.
inckley fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Interesting that whenever a club loses a manager who has done well they try to convince themselves that they won't really miss him. So it wasn't the then Hull boss who brought in Man U youngsters, it was a coach at Man U who had worked at Hull over a decade ago. A coach who, in some or other unpaid capacity, still has Hull at the top of his list of priorities, despite the fact that he was only there for four seasons and turned down the manager's job recently in order to remain a bit-part player at Old Trafford. Warren Joyce just sends players from Man U to Hull while Pearson or Barmby or whoever else sits passively by. Presumably Warren Joyce was also responsible for bringing Cleverley to Leicester when Pearson was here last time round. As for Brady's loan, it all depends whether there's a recall option. If there is then we'd be able to sign him, but the fact that he's extended the loan at all suggests that either he or we have expressed no interest. Which is fine, really, because we'd be in a fairly torrid position if we opted to systematically replace all of our players with Hull's which, I'm guessing, isn't the plan. As far as I'm concerned, though, I enjoy having the Hull fans around and having spent ample time laughing at their forum I can perfectly well understand why they're hanging around. At some point in time, over the coming twelve months, I daresay we'll enjoy the opportunity to gloat on-tap.

The link has genuinely always been there as Joyce remained on excellent terms with some back room staff, of course Pearson had the final say but the link with Joyce was never understated at our end. We know full well the success Pearson (well, Walsh) had in the transfer market and with not a lot of money which is why I can't help but feel he should keep utilising walsh's contacts. Whether Brady had the choice of us or you we will never know but hes back and we will see how he gets on. As I've already said im not his biggest fan and of the two, I'd be far more disappointed to lose Stewart. With regards your last point I always enjoy an active board and yours is very good. I always found it very useful when trying to find views on Pearson, fryatt, Hobbs, waghorn etc and now to see what info there is from your end re: Stewart, Chester, Brady, koren.
Babylon Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Just to clear up a popular misconception, Pearson didn't use his knowledge to sniff out our Man U signings/loans, this person did: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Joyce I suppose he told us about Cleverly when we signed him from Man U. LLL

You are right about us utilising Walshes contacts, we should not bid over the odds for any player just because we can. If Hull want silly money for Stuart we should walk away and go elsewhere, if the player is un happy he will leave anyway. Hope Brid is not to windy mate, nice place to live anyway.
