HEGGSY Posted 8 January 2012 Author Posted 8 January 2012 Our stadium is a complete bore, both aesthetically and for atmosphere, get over yourselves. This.
Yojoe36 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Our stadium is a complete bore, both aesthetically and for atmosphere, get over yourselves. I reckon it is nicer. Or at least more interesting. Our ground, by far, has a better architectural design. As for atmosphere? Well Forest can't make an atmosphere.
purpleronnie Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Our ground, by far, has a better architectural design. As for atmosphere? Well Forest can't make an atmosphere. I guess if you like lego bowls our stadium does appeal.
LCFC BEAST Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 IF we beat Forest (which is the main concern), it'll end up being a 15k crowd with both sets of fans not being arsed to sing or create an atmosphere.
Libertine Dream Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I see this as a good draw. Great chance to progress to the 5th Round, I'd hope all our signings are complete by then so its a chance to give them a run out, play some football and settle with the team in what should be a win. Might even be a chance to get some goals, build up team morale and get playing football against a very good footballing teams. Tickets should be a fiver to get people into the ground(free for season ticket holders ) and if they have a gripe regarding money just round it up to 100k or whatever the average figure would be.
Haydos Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Our ground, by far, has a better architectural design. As for atmosphere? Well Forest can't make an atmosphere. It's the most boring stadium design I can think of, nothing unique about it. Better architectural design? Yawn. It's dull. And Southampton have one in red.
The Doctor Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Swindon were at home against Wigan, away from home they have got no chance whatsoever. pedestal, put, shot, upon, to, at, be. Re-arrange those words, then please have a little humility. Wigan may not be a great team in the prem, but I reckon they'd stand a very good chance of beating us. Don't look down on them because they're a league 2 club, upsets can easily happen. Now then, as for the whole ground stuff - yeah, our ground is utter bobbins. A soulless flat pack bowl, the only thing that differentiates it from St. Mary's, Riverside, Pride Park etc is the colour of the seats and the screens.
smudger63 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 If we get through the replay, this is a very good draw. Gives us an excellent chance of making the 5th round, and with quite a few prem clubs playing each other, and other prem teams with tricky away games, this seasons FA Cup, may just open up, like it did when Portsmouth and Cardiff got to the final a few years back. The FA Cup is something to put in the cabinet, and engrave forever into our history. A long way to go i know, and unlikely to happen, but the dream is still alive, so lets try and live it. Yes we want to get promoted, but lets not turn our nose up at any chance we have of winning the greatest cup in the world. For those of you who are gutted we didn`t get a glamour game away from home, well i`m sure there will be more chance of getting that game, if we make it to the 5th round. Me though, i`d be hoping we got a home game against the winner of Stevenage v Notts County!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Swindon fans can go and fvck themselves, retarded fooking country bumpkin assholes
heatherfox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 we owe Swindon a good spanking for 93 Too true. I was there and the scars need healing (It was never a peno) Revenge will be sweet (not that I'm bitter or anything)
Yojoe36 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I guess if you like lego bowls our stadium does appeal. It's the most boring stadium design I can think of, nothing unique about it. Better architectural design? Yawn. It's dull. And Southampton have one in red. I never said we had a good design. But it's better than the shed which Forest call the main stand. Also, most of the seats are on the second tier in the Trent end and Brian Clough stand. I'd hate that. Just my opinion
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Too true. I was there and the scars need healing (It was never a peno) Revenge will be sweet (not that I'm bitter or anything) How very true, i think i was more incensed than the previous year when Speedie dived

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I do get pissed off with you constantly sitting on the fence! Sorry buddy, think im on a man period today
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Sorry buddy, think im on a man period today Mood swings? Crying? Wanting to beat people up? Illogical? Suffering all of these mate? Then you could well be.... lol
ithuriel Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Think our new stadia is quite decent and not that bad looking , when we get into the prem and it is expanded it will look much better and hold more. It is warm, toilets are clean, TVs in the concourse. Give us a decent stay in the prem and it will have happy memories too
I am Rod Hull Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Apart from the top dogs in the Prem, Swindon were my 3rd choice draw from the other 3 divisions... 1. Derby 2. Sheff Weds 3. Swindon I`m quite happy getting them.
Kitchandro Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 love the high and mighty posts in here just because Swindon fans aren't keen on playing us. Why would they be? And as for stuff about grounds, well ours is boring and soulless, at least the city ground has some character. Only when we're filling one of their ends and making a load of noise. The only character that club has is a bad one. Beggars (Swindon) can't be choosers. They'll be lucky if they ever play a club as big as us in the league in the next 5 years.
Kitchandro Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I reckon it is nicer. Or at least more interesting. Yes we all know what you think, you've never got anything positive to say about our club or ground, you're only interested in living in the past and talking about how great Filbo was. With that attitude maybe you should support Forest.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Mood swings? Crying? Wanting to beat people up? Illogical? Suffering all of these mate? Then you could well be.... lol Well im 4' 9" tall, weigh 5 stones, im a professor in logical thought processes and havent cried since 1987 . . . . . . . . .so yes probably
stockyfox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Boring, wanted a top 4 team away for a good day out, lose with dignity and focus on staying up this season. I hope we are going to focus on GOING UP this season. I reckon that's not a bad draw. For a start, it's at home - and a fair reward for those who spend a small fortune travelling to the away matches. I don't in all honesty see Forest putting one over us in the replay, I would hope that we don't have to go to a replay to beat Swindon. I still have bad memories of May 31st 1993 when the beat us 4-3 in the promotion play-offs so to give them a right good thrashing this time will make me feel as if there is some rough justice and retribution in this world. AND I'm happy to see all the Premier League teams knocking each other out but don't be downhearted about not getting a plum draw in the early rounds. If we get through to Round 5 or 6, you will get your plum draw!!!
cardifflee Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Swindon moaning about a shit draw how the **** do you think we feel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Narborough_fox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Provided we beat Nottingham Forest, this fixture gives us a good chance to progress although Swindon will not be easy. The giant-killing last yesterday, and the Di Canio factor, might push the game to television though. Maybe. What's a "last yesterday"?
