Collymore Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Swindon moaning about a shit draw how the **** do you think we feel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a shit draw for them and an Ok one for us though. It's like us getting Southampton or Hull away, not an exciting fixture and a very difficult one to win. At least we have a fairly decent chance of winning and progressing to the 5th round for the first time in a while, but this is by no mean set in stone considering our recent dodgy home form. I think some people don't realise how boring our club seems to other fans. We've done feck all for 10 years and have lost all our identity since moving from Filbo Street. We love our club though so that's all that matters but I really can't see us being a good draw away to any club (apart from the top half of the prem) who would expect to beat us comfortably.

But the exciting draw has to be a premier league club for most clubs (except for a non-league team or a L2 team new to professional football) I think we're being bit patronising to Swindon if we think we are a big draw for them, many of their fans will remember days playing football at higher level than we are now. As for our identity - I've supported LCFC for 20 years now and I feel at this moment in time we are at an all time low in regards to knowing our identity. It used to be every single player wore their hearts on their sleeve and were LCFC fans themselves, other fans would complement our work rate and identifiable spirit and determination. Right now we are just a bunch of individuals. Ill never stop supporting us though and Man City have proven it can be sorted.

And as for stuff about grounds, well ours is boring and soulless, at least the city ground has some character. Yes, and after yesterday's trip, we know what type of character it welcomes...

I hate it when we get a Swansea away or something like and quietly bow out. It's nice to have a game that we really should be overwhelming favorites to win, and hopefully we can get a good cup run going....if we can get past Forest first !!

Also I can see where they're coming from in regards to the draw, in the grand scheme of things were **** all same with Forest (although 99% of there fans think otherwise). Leicester away is hardly a reward for beating a Prem side at home. They want a top 6 prem club! Lets concentrate on beating the cuntys at home first!

Its the FA Cup, and just because we are in a higher division gives us no right to beat them. Of course, we should beat Swindon, but we have seen many things happen in the FA Cup before... I THINK you can only buy for whatever category you are (U18, Over 60 etc), and you cant buy more than one per person, hence you need to register anyone else you are buying for as a friend. I THINK!
