Agreed, i don't get why everybody seems to love him so much. He was good, but nothing special and some of his tackles were very dodgy. Never going to be Prem quality
breadandcheese Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 I think a few of you are being a bit harsh. He wasn't overrated. For a young player experiencing first team football, I think he did very well, looking composed and solid. Granted, his debut was the stuff of nightmares, but he wised up and didn't look out of place in the Championship, keeping Taraabt in his pocket when we played QPR. I think Burnley have made a good signing who if he develops, then great, if not, then he's at the right level.

kingfox Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Yep I agree with some aboves, Vitor was the man. One of the best signings last season in my opinion, and far many fans underrated his ability. Think he only had one poor game and that was against Pompey away...less said about that the better. But especially in home games he was mighty impressive.
