Rusko187 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Just thought what everyones opinions were? me personally I'm finding it hard to call this season but I'm going for. 3. Bolton 2. Blackburn 1. Wigan
MikeyT Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I really, really hope Wigan. Bloody hate them. Can'texplain why. Plus Martinez comes across as such a wimpy bugger.

Wigan I wouldn't be surprised if this was how it finished. Bad times for the north-west outside of Manchester!
Guest Bilo Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Wigan, Bolton and QPR. Can see Blackburn wiggling out of it somehow.

I just don't understand how Wigan has been a prem team for so long? They don't have the fanbase to warrant their status.

Having a big fanbase doesn't guarentee success, and it doesn't always deserve it either. They are in the Prem because they have worked hard and never given up.

Anyway, Blackburn, Bolton and Wigan will go.

Wonder if the Manchester city teams could see an increase in their fanbase should that happen?
VinceNoir Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 I really, really hope Wigan. Bloody hate them. Can'texplain why. Plus Martinez comes across as such a wimpy bugger. I feel sorry for Wigan. I was in the City end at the game last night and Wigan played well, but they seriously have no fans! They had about 4-5 chavvy kids waving their crisp packets at the away end. It must be really uninspiring playing football up there. I reckon they should knock down one of the stands and make it into a carpark.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Wigan really should go down for once! Hope Blackburn and Bolton too as they all get crap crowds. Plus they are cheap games in the Prem so should be even cheaper in the Championship.
Soar Fox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Would like Wolves to go down but don't think they will. 18. Blackburn 19. Bolton 20. Wigan

Wigan have been run like a business and if you think about it there is less pressure on the chairman because the expectations of the fans is lower but all in all they've been run very very well.
Langston Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 I'd love Blackburn to go down, but can honestly see them getting out of it. They seem to score enough goals. Wigan and Bolton wouldn't be missed, personally I'd love to see Villa drop down. If anybody thinks our fans are deluded they should take a brief look at their lot. They won't be relegated, though. It'll be one of QPR, Wolves, or Blackburn, along with Bolton and Wigan who seem doomed.
