Half a season isn't long enough to say "someone isn't good enough." This is why people who are on Beckford's back pisses me off. Aside from the fact that I completely disagree with you about Beckford, saying that Silva was "terrible" last season might just be the most stupid thing I've ever read on here. Almost completely indefensible.

First half of the season he was incredibly disappointing. terrible might not be the word but he was nothing like the player he is now, was incredibly slow to get going. Not to say that that is so terrible - he took time to find his feet, that's the point being made. Didn't mean he was suddenly a shit player.
