Beckford's only weak people feel the pressure is hilarious. Look what a goal does to him!!! He's killing them and not only could he have had another, but he's put 4 or 5 on a plate for Dyer, Nugent and Gally.

Please for the love of god, stroke this man's ego, kiss him, caress him and tell him he's beautiful because if he puts 2 or 3 goals together then we've got a great player!!

PS I've got free ESPN on my virgin box tonight for some reason.

It's free with certain virgin packages

Whatever you want to say about him the fans overall criticism of him has been significantly blown out of all kinds of proportion.

It hasn't been, he's been terrible. No commitment, no running, no control, no finishing, no hunger, no passing, no vision.

He has the lot in abundance tonight, fantastic.

Partially. Whatever you want to say about him the fans overall criticism of him has been significantly blown out of all kinds of proportion. I just don't think we have played the way that suits him at all.

he rarely makes himself available for a pass whereas tonight he's all over the place, closing their defence down, coming deep laying it off & even running the channels creating space for Danns to run on down the middle

He has to really want it, tonight he does... Let's hope this is his usual level of desire from now on

Let's have it right, Leicester have been very lucky.
Yep to draw us in the cup.

Some people are getting too excited. We haven't been very good at all but Forist have been non-league like.

Nugent is a class player but the rest are not outstanding and towards the end of the half when the midfield did even less than usual we looked poor. Anyone better than forest would be winning this game.

I hope we get the kids on in the second half and keep running.

Gally was far too greedy several times when he should have put players in and got us further ahead. We don't need glory goals, we need a steady performance to build confidence.

Nuge great

Dyer good

Defence okay

the rest need to keep working.

I can see howard coming on and scoring 3 (and I think he should be put out to pasture).

Forest fans on their forum talking about how their record defeat could be broken tonight. lol

lol should be about 6 up at this point, we have just battered them in that half...

Hey lads. You know how we felt Saturday? Think about Coventry and the teams around the bottom. They go through far worse than us week in, week out. Keep your heads up, we have one of the strongest squads(on paper). We WILL come good. You are my Leicester.

Who's the bloke playing up front with Nugent ? He looks a bit like Jermaine Beckford !

Well that cannt be right he never starts and is a waste money, according to some. Maybe he is only starting to let Big Sam check him out

lol

Did anyone lip read wot pearson said to beckford? He said 'no you play as a team not for yourself , if you wanna do that.....' Then he turned round

That was what I lip read too, then I thought "nah, I can't lip read." Worrying you read it the same way, the commentators picked up on it too, making some crack about body language, maybe Beckford came over giving it how great he was for scoring.

Forest are awful and are making us look good, we are still making the same mistakes we have done all season, full backs exposed, Mills' long balls, giving away possession, and Beckford's touch has let him down again. He is certainly playing better, as they all are, but I have not seen anything to say that we have turned a corner, we can't play Forest every week.

Still enjoying the game though, just predicting the usual overly positive crap after we win, which I hate almost as much as the over the top negative crap.

Come off it. If people are going to slate us for a bad game, can we not enjoy what was a very good performance (so far), no matter what you think.

Long way to go, we have been in this position a hundred times and blown it. I want the lads to keep this up and not drop their efforts.

Well admittedly I'm not been to loads of games this season but of the ones I have Beckford has come on and looked sharp, or been alright/disappointing/shit (the range).

Not seen anything that would make me think booing him off the pitch is fair play. He's been scapegoat of the season as far as I can see - and that's not to say he hasn't been shit on one or several occasions.

But it wasn't that good. We have missed some easy chances. We have been incredibly selfish not setting others up with better chances. That miss by the yank would have made it 1-0 - how could anyone miss that? and the last 10 minutes we switched off and could easily have given away 2 more.

Sure I'm happy with the lead especially against the team I hate most but we're not looking that good.
