James_lcfc Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Matt Mills is all about the £££...we know that already.
Krimbinho Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Matt Mills is all about the £££...we know that already. I don't care if he just playing for the money as long as he performs.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Season Ticket Holder, So I have seen mills every game don't worry. I stand by what I said, He dosen't have the passion & drive for the club to be captain. And yes he couldn't control the fee we paid, But he can control his Wage + Bonuses.
Soar Fox Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Season Ticket Holder, So I have seen mills every game don't worry. I stand by what I said, He dosen't have the passion & drive for the club to be captain. And yes he couldn't control the fee we paid, But he can control his Wage + Bonuses. So let's say he got offered £30,000 a week by us do you expect him to turn round and say "I'm not worth that just give me £12,000 a week instead"
TheUltimateWinner Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 So let's say he got offered £30,000 a week by us do you expect him to turn round and say "I'm not worth that just give me £12,000 a week instead" The player sets his requirements first normally, And it happened in Mills's case.
gazfox9 Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 The player sets his requirements first normally, And it happened in Mills's case. Naturally Mills would ask for as much as he could get (or his agent would). The fact we paid somewhere between 3-5 million quid for him would suggest he would expect to be one of the higher earners in the squad. And with Yuki already being here when Mills signed (and reportedly on 40k a week, something Mill's agent would know), who could blame him.
Jimmy Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 The player sets his requirements first normally, And it happened in Mills's case. Seth Johnson when he joined Leeds from Derby in his personal terms negotiations with Peter Risdale (then Leeds Chairman) Johnson and his agent agreed in advance to hold out for £13k a week, but Ridsdale's opening offering was in the region of £30k. When the agent balked, Ridsdale increased the offer by several thousand.
Alexikokopops Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Haha yeah see Beckford walking him all the time This article makes browsing forums a lot more tolerable http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/04/alot-is-better-than-you-at-everything.html
Number 6 Posted 27 January 2012 Posted 27 January 2012 As much as those goal celebrations and really clevver and good to watch have to say I'm hate a pre-arranged celebration. It's about getting lost in the moment and enjoying. Cov was still the best for me this season (thus far). Also think I agree with Mills' heart not being with it. Not saying he should be got rid of because in the last couple of games he's been great. Doesn't seem to hang around and applaud the fans much at the end of games though. Might be a consequence of all the sh#t he got early in the season.
flowwolf Posted 27 January 2012 Posted 27 January 2012 Or a consequence of all the shit HE played earlier in the season.
Jace Posted 27 January 2012 Posted 27 January 2012 This article makes browsing forums a lot more tolerable http://hyperboleanda...everything.html Just to clear up any confusion this is what I meant
