Clueless, loud and annoying

I'm sure many of you are in the same boat as me. I sit in the kop and about 5 rows above me is an absolute moron.

He sits on his own (I wonder why), shouting all the way through the game at what each player is doing wrong and what their weaknesses are. Some of the things he moans about are absolutely unreal ("Why is Peltier not on the touchline when goal kicks are being taken?")

He asks rhetorical questions throughout the game and then looks at the fans around him expecting answers. He has been an idiot all season but last night was non stop nonsense coming out of his mouth.

What I want to know is, how many of you guys also have a complete clown that has no idea sitting near you?

I had one like that until I told him to shut the feck up, sit down and watch the game. Been as good as gold since.

I know there is one bloke in SK4 near the back who just sings constantly on his own. lol

Fair play, I admire his persistence!

I have the same problem, I sit in SK2 and the guy who sits next to me on the left gives me no-end of earache throughout the match. Sometimes I like to wind him up and disagree with everything he says, but more than often he seems to think that if you speak louder and faster than everyone else than you're guaranteed to be right!

Sounds like I need to take your approach!

Well the bloke didn't take kindly to it if i'm honest and he offered me outside. I just told him to grow up.

We had one near me and my mates on that same level as you described. Our solution was to keep pointing at him and laughing out loud at every thing he said. He got very angry but under the threat of continued ridicule he learned to keep his silly mouth firmly closed. A few weeks back he changed his seat to somewhere else, probable next to you !

Just a quick question. Why do people actually sit in the Kop? I've sat there 3 times. All three times have been dire not just support wise but you cant see anything? The angle is awful and everyone mumbling and chatting make it sound like a hornets nest. Where as SK1 gives a great view from the Top If there was more of an atmosphere there id move but for now its K1 And the view is good from the whole ground and you cant here one person because we're all singing?

Maybe that's the bloke who used to sit near me. Me, my Dad and various others all told him to shut up on many different occasions, and then the following season he moved! :)

To sum him up, he once shouted at Mark De Vries (I know he was pants) for not jumping to head a ball that was about 6 feet above him lol

The guys behind me have their pet hates. But last night the two of them were the best entertainment around in the lulls between Beckford shots.

They were just in the mood to take the mickey out of everything....and their humour did much to keep the cold out. Mind you the referee made it easier for them!

I've got a guy behind me who does nothing but slate the players all match wether were playing well or not, he was also clapping last night when middlesborough put some decent balls through, and has a tendancy to shout "Great Goal!" every time the opposition score against us. The first match of the season I thought he was an away fan in our end, but he's been sitting there every game.

Back in the late 1990s, I used to sit near a guy who when Steve Guppy got the ball would growl. Everytime Guppy got the ball, "Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!"

Was actually quite amusing now I look back.

HAHA :D

I sit about 5 ows I front of the sk4 guy (who the stewards told to sit down last night) but directly behind me are two fat old blokes who moan at every pinneky little thing. Ie if a throw in is taken 6 yards from where it went out or if a player is time wasting.

Ive always been a fan of Beckford and when he got his brace against Seindon I turned to my mates and said "I knew the boy would come good!"

The old farts behinds were moaning because he "only scores in the cup" **** OFF AND CELEBRATE THE GOAL!!!!

They're like the two grumpy old men from the muppets!!
