FuriousFox46 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 It's painfully obvious to the majority that the atmosphere at the Walkers/King Power Stadium has never been good. However, last night. We started doing the 'We Love You' chants. And for the first time in our new home, all 4 stands were singing. We were louder than the Boro' fans as they celebrated going 2-1 up and our SUPPORT won us a point during a game that could have ended up a disaster with officiating controversies. So answer me this. Why on earth, are there some fans still labelling the song as 'cringeworthy' and a 'copy'. Here's some facts for your mardy arses. The vast majority of chants are copied. It's not Crystal Palace's. WYS is perhaps the only song that is exclusive to our club so why on Earth is this such a problem? I'm sure you're more than happy to belt out the dull, monotonous, repetitive Leicester chants. The fact of the matter is, it gave our ground atmosphere, created unity amongst our fans and I was proud to support us last night. So if you think it's 'gay' or 'queer' or 'cringeworthy' to support our club then do everyone a favour and STAY AT HOME.
Callabinho Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Whole heartedly agree, you pay for you're ticket so get behind the lads! I'ts a nice clean chant too, so there is no excuse not to get involved.
Kitchandro Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 CAP - CRINGEWORTHY AND PROUD I'm a bit bored of the Poznan though.
Corky Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 CAP - CRINGEWORTHY AND PROUD I'm a bit bored of the Poznan though. Don't turn your back on it.
Hantsfox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Well said , it was great away at saints aswell. support your team!!!

People need to get over themselves and get their heads out of their anuses.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 The response has been overwhelmingly positive and you're just credit seeking. There's always one.

MrFox781 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Even when we went 2-1 down, the atmosphere was just simply amazing. man i really felt something singing Leicester till I die yesterday. the atmosphere second half was just simply class. proud to have been part of it and long it continue.
Raj Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Don't turn your back on it. We could do it facing FORWARDS!!!
m00nie Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 So if you think it's 'gay' or 'queer' or 'cringeworthy' to support our club then do everyone a favour and STAY AT HOME. people may think its cringeworthy but you dont hear them telling those that sing it to stay at home.. so what makes you better?? people always quick to say "stay at home" .." fk off and support so n so" etc.. like your some better supporter.. bet alot of them that are singing the song and loving it today are half that were against the FB that origianly wanted the euro style, but didnt hear the FB saying if you dont like what we do "stay at home" im actually torn with the song myself., i love the amotshphere and want it to be fun and loud again but on other side think do i want us sounding like every other club and 12 months behind them....
jonlcfc1990 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 All for atmosphere I just don't want Leicester to lose its identity it's not a crime you know. I sing and dance for 90minutes along with K and L but the first half there were a lot of boo boys in that bunch ad they also cheered off gally again and some tried to boo at Hal time Idiots! To sum up I'll be singing along to this all the way I just don't want it to be the only chant we do I love the fact we have so many creative chants it's what makes lcfc fans the bed in the country

If they don't like it or don't want to join in that's fine. But actively trying to discourage the chanting as SOME fans were doing is ridiculous. Why on earth would they bother attending games?
FOXMAN2 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Watched game on laptop thought the singing brought the game alive and woke the team up, now I got the words will join in at home. Well Done Singers AND the second half Extra effort from TEAM ( Due to crowd vocal ) Same again SAT LADS and 3PTS

FuriousFox46 Posted 2 February 2012 Author Posted 2 February 2012 to watch the football maybe..... Excellent, if they're going to 'tell me off' for supporting my team. Because they think they're above certain songs. I recommend Fulham. They accommodate neutrals marvellously.

FuriousFox46 Posted 2 February 2012 Author Posted 2 February 2012 the same as your trying to tell others?? works both ways.. No. I said if they don't want to join in that's fine. I said, if they tell me what I should be doing regarding the support of my team. Who I pay to watch, they can rightly fox off.
Storming Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 We'll sing on our own We'll sing on our own We're LEICESTER CITY We'll sing on our ownnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn :scarf:
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 It was the first ever game at home where I came back home with no voice. The atmosphere was the best that I have heard at home in the KP ever, in particular the second half. We were louder than Boro even when they scored their second goal, and all the scarfs in the air looked very good. So all the losers that don't like this song or won't sing it then please... **** off! And everybody who is going to Brighton. Bring a scarf
Storming Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 And Norwich and Cardiff and every other game we play lets get behind the lads not onto them :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
