I found some absolute Gems, 'women', 'confusion', 'All Nighter' , and various other threads that were of pure genious. The old foxestalk guard took these and made them into some of the most hilarious stuff ever! We used to have a good old giggle, we all used to meet up on occasion wether it was for bowling, in the pub or for a kick-about it used to have. Everyone would just have a good old laugh. We used to rip the crap out of eachother in a way that was in gest and just made for pure comedy to read. What ever happened to those days? Just seems so depressing on here these days. Anyone else got any classic threads/ conversations from back then that are worth highlighting and reminiscing about?

I can't remember which thread it was - undoubtedly one of your 'emo' ones (!) - but you being 'attacked' by a herd of particularly bloodthirsty cows was quite funny.

No idea but if you dig up the thread it was in there. We had a good little legion on there that all started on the same day a server opened. I quit after a month or two cos i was getting rapped on a regular basis.

I don't think FT has lost anything at all, it's only a matte of time before the next all-time-brilliant thread pops up (think about the "My mate is tonight's ref" thread - if that's not a historical forum gem then I don't know what is...

Well bump them then, or reply to some of the other topics, the militant secularist thread had me chuckling for a while, and cereal wars looks like it's taking off, you sound like the person who complains about there not being an atmosphere at the KP but don't sing.

But while a true classic might only come around every so often, there are times when everything was just better. Much like the MON era/2006-2007 on here. Don't get me wrong, if I didn't still enjoy it I wouldn't be here. There will always be that bit you look fondly upon though. I guess it's because I met people like TPH (whose wedding day celebrations I would have been a part of if I hadn't have been trapped by snow) and Fez (who I've since been on holiday, and Corby Town FC, with) through this wonderful place during that glorious era. Plus I can still look back at things like the Ian Ormondroyd Name Change and shit my pants with laughter. Ah, whirlwind Internet romances.
