easilee Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Some of the players don't seem bothered, when it comes to games against lower table teams they don't work for it. I'm not sure that they're not bothered. Just complacent. They thought that Bristol, being a lower positioned side would be an easier task, and they were wrong. Don't we all look forward to an easier day at work ? Our team need to realise that in the Championship, there are no easy days at work and you will be punished for lack of concentration and effort.

They always seem it's always an easy game yet against top teams they work their socks off, can see about 4 getting sold
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Does nobody finally not think our lack of success this season could be due to the fact that we just not good enough? There's a million reasons that could be given for losing again tonight and we could do so until time immemorial. But being 'good enough' don't mean good one game, poor the next, it means being good consistently. We haven't been, so I'm afraid we aren't good enough. Major culprits for me this season of 'not being good enough consistently'? Beckford, Mills, Danns and Peltier. Changes needed come the summer... I think Nige will make them.
Gold Coast Fox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Season over? Sorry about being rude, im just a bit grumpy at the moment
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Reading this time last season: 10: Reading (Played) 35 (GD) +15 (Points) 51 Leicester Currently: 11: Leicester (Played) 34 (GD) 7 (Points) 48 So in comparison to Reading last season, we are 3 points behind where they were at this time with a game in hand. Not impossible

Foxhateram Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 We struggle against sides who sit 11 men behind the ball and then hoof to their big men up front. I take you back to the last game we lost, exactly the same scenrio. Our style of play suites absorbing preassure then counter attacking quickly and effectively, tonights game was not a game where that would work, due to bristols way of playing tough, getting stuck in and being damn right defensive! Reading on saturday however is a different kettle of fish all together. They will try and hit us, we will catch them pushing up and we will put a new run together. Low sides that play like brizzle do are our weak point, and until we get a big fat t*at upfront so we can play the hoof game too. Then we will always be vunerable to teams like brizzle. Its not the end of the world! It is still doable, there are 12 games left ffs! get a grip! seriously some of you on here need to have a word with your god damn mental fragility! SMILE for god sake.

There speaks a Wellens groupie. How else can you exclude him when he has been the captain during so many poor results this season? frost1 Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 i think we have got to start blaming the players weve had two managers and i havnt seen a massive improvement from the players i think they are over paid and dont really care about the club.
Daggers Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Remind us, who was the Reading captain last season? Where is he now? What do I win if I guess correctly?
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 No point dreaming of the play offs as we know it over after tonight !!! Can't even hear the fat lady warming up yet !!!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 The odds are against us but Leeds drew with hull blackpool lost! Results can still go our way! It's not over just yet! So we lost! Do you seriously think we were going to finish the season unbeaten? That would be naive! It's not so much we lost as we lost to Bristol. When we beat Reading and Birmingham everyone will probably be champing at the bit again, but then we also need to take points off Hull and Blackpool. Only then will I start getting excited again (or when we beat Chelsea :scarf: )
HoustonFox Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 What do I win if I guess correctly? He'll come round your house and nut you (allegedly) I'm disappointed we lost. We were on a nice little run there... Ah well, it was good while it lasted. Looking forward to the Reading game and playing a team in top form. Chelsea mauling Brum didn't really do much good for us. Now AVB has gone they will probably pick up a bit.
Daggers Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 He'll come round your house and nut you (allegedly) Ultra wouldn't do that.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 He'll come round your house and drop his trousers? (or the other way round? )
Daggers Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 (or the other way round? ) Too many people know too much about me
HoustonFox Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Too many people know too much about me Would you say "Bazinga" when you did it?
foxes2011 Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 lets go all out for the fa cup games and just try and grind out the season as best as we can but im convinced we have the right man in give him investment and hopefully we will build a team to challenge for next season. I want to see some competent central defenders, maybe a new right back some one with more experience, maybe two new wingers, im happy with our strike force but id still like one more and some playmakers and ballwinners.
